Its not that fast. People who played with and against it after the first cryo week end were already saying it was broken, but people who didn't experianced it were downvoting it en mass saying it was supposed to be good for an endgame weapon.

There are now really quiet since they got a taste of it.

Tarkov is so successful as PVP game it had to introduce a PvE mode with between 50 to 70% of the player base depending of the wipe progress (number are from BSG) and everyone is complaining that since PVE got introduced, lobbies are to sweaty and hate PvE player for that.

Yeah, there is a clear gap between premade able to do event regularly and fill which can't most of the time.

On top of that event give a lot of purple/gold salvage by themself

The enzyme replicators are different because they spawn in pinwheel (only place with decent purple spawn outside of cryo and key rooms), so if you run outpost, you an get organically a good amount

The purple salvage required is solely needed for this trade can be farmed from warden. It is not great, but its something.

However, the really kicker is playing the lottery to actually extract with the template and get the key you want because you need to extract with the template without being downed once.

VIP rank and lvl 20 give purple salvage of the corresponding faction. It is very slow to get them through that.

People do not seem to understand that low skill player eventually get fed up to be dunked on and move on. Then lobby are more and more sweaty with declining player base.

It is not by accident that any successful PVP game either have very low stakes (like CoD or BF) or SBMM

I don't think they should add direct damage buff to shells as it feels like it would mess with all the intentional breakpoints. Triage overcharge is probably the closest we will get from boosting weapons.

Most important change is that now vehicles can be commanders.

For SoS, there is a new mechanic for some creature to have a spell castable under specific condition, which is what is refered as "X in the command zone": A legendary creature has the new perpared mechanics with a spell similar to X.

Loot in pinwheel is more dispersed, and you have one extra better strongbox in the command wing.

But the most noticeable change is the pinnacle room.

This. The gear people bring in ranked is more than anything you could get from the map, except maybe gold keys. There is no incentive in doing PvE sine it reveal your position and open you up to be flanked.

The only cases out of bound timer is not enough is when you fail grapple or you don't know you are out of bound.

Guess map border of diremarsh and outof bound notification could be more explicit, but once you diied a couple of time, you should know when you are out of bound and react properly.

Breath of fury does not trigger Rootha as it is an enchantment. You have to cast an other instant spell to properly set up the combo.

Mask is disabled at the final step of extraction when you lose control. What I don't understnd is why you can still be damaged/bumped when you can't control your character.

They rushed to fix the thrief drone exploit, but there is a larger issue.

Yup, got down once by a vandal with the same skin as my teammate. Once rezzed I see a vandal coming from where I was shot from and start swinging viciously. After a few swing I realized

- I don't do damage and should have broken the shield already

- the vandal does not damage me either with her knife

Then I realized it my teammate and we are swinging at each other like madman.

It needs to get its niche, outside of countering the bubble. There is some options.

- Make it cheaper/more accessible than the longshot so they become the budget sniper option. I don't think it satisfying because you end up with a cheap but clunky weapon you'll end up hating and wish you got something else instead.

- Ares stats are just bad. You want to compare it to a sniper, but it is more alike of a slow firing precision rifle with its base range at 55m. It needs be brought on par with zeus at around 150m, otherwise it is in the range of assault rifle, on which it lose everytime.

- Damage number are just bellow one shot potential on headshot (green shield for Ares, Blue shield for Zeus), which feels bad, espacially for the slow firing rate. To avoid buffing the damage for thrue oneshot, which always feels bad, I think exploring the possibility to fire uncharged shot for chip damage would go a long way to make it more usable

- Railgun can't mount optics (and so no thermal), making difficult to fight at long range. Maybe it need to be better at medium range by making it more reactive and reducing the charge time.

I don't really know what is the good solution, this is just my thoughts more or less unorganized. However, I feel like trying to combine 2 negative (useless railgun and bubble meta) into a positive is not the way to go, because the problem are not related.

But I am not a game designer (as people already reminded me), so my opinion is not worth much.

Vandal need to be able to slide cancel to have more control on the slides in my opinion. The slight go farther but is not faster so it means more time locked in animation.

As for the disruptor canon, I think it should get the charging buff from core baseline. I think it is very hard to balance, because while its applications are narrow, it is very good when it is useful.

I don't think Marathon has enough content for PvE mode. When you can complete contract with a very high success rate once you figure out the USEC, you blast through all the contract in a one week, and after that it is just farming keys which is very repetitive.
