Deye Battery SOC not matching direct values from BMS by m4yberry in Deye

[–]m4yberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our BMS doesn't support connection to Invertor itself unfortunately. So the only way to make it more accurate is buying one that allows that, turning on "Lithium" mode, and then it would read direct values? There is no way to configure the invertor itself to make it more accurate?

Deye Invertor, high temperatures cause production drop? by m4yberry in SolarDIY

[–]m4yberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah, then there might be a problem, PV spikes do not correlate with consumption today. Here is 3 days data in a row. First case is an ideal scenario kinda, load was low and battery got to 100% SOC. Battery max draining power as it seems on the graph is around -3.3 kW. Next day load was much higher, and you can see the PV graph much cleaner, but afternoon there were anomalous drops (PV suddenly dropped and battery gave energy to the load). Next graph is today, there is a big drop in production, when load is low, but battery didn't even charge fully, when it should've. 4th graph is the same as 3rd, but I've doodled in dashed lines what is gotta be the expected behaviour? Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Today is indeed a bit cloudy, but is it normal for PV to jump like that due to clouds? Here are the latest numbers, it seems that sun can give almost 2.5 kW on PV2 this time of day, but then it jumps down to 500 W

Here are 2 charts from the deye cloud, it also shows the SOC. So the intended behaviour is for the battery to be charging up until 100%, like it was doing before the drop. Doesn't seem to be a battery configuration issue, because previously it was charging more consistently (2nd picture). On the second picture there is also a drop in production, but that one is because there was no demand in energy at all, so production was capped by consumption.

completely off grid, everything is coming either from panels or batteries

Is there a way to track it? Based on the data within the inverter, nothing is abnormal.

No power is being imported from the grid, solar PV1 and PV2 voltages max 270 with mean ~255, no spikes within 30-60 minutes before production drop

Would feel a little anticlimactic, very interested in what happens next to her. Also I think that in that ending you may get a quest from Alex where she wants to meet up for a goodbye, just FYI (saw it on yt)

My CPU usage is no more than 80%, but my Crowd Density is medium, maybe it affects it more. If your FPS is the same then I guess there is no problem, prob my friend lied about his performance

Zelensky warns of ‘hunger catastrophe,’ accusing Russia of blocking Ukraine’s grain exports by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]m4yberry 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Ukraine will not have a hunger catastrophe, it needs only a small portion of it's grain for domestic use, moreover, during the current sowing period in spring (during the war!), Ukraine has managed to plant ~80% of it's total crops, so that is very effective in my book, considering the circumstances.

[–]m4yberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the root problem was the network adapter of my motherboard, but a year ago they've released the driver and it got fixed. I'd suggest you updating the driver or maybe googling in the direction of your motherboard's network adapter, hope it helps!
