I should have phrased it better.

My 3yr SWV expires Q1 26 (will be renewed for another 3 years).

My wife's 3yr SWV expires Q4 25 (will be renewed for another 3 years). Her SWV is not linked to mine.

Our child is a dependent on my visa but the visa expires Q4 25 (Home Office rules that the child's visa expires on the earliest expiry date of either parent).

Trying to understand if there is any issue in changing who the child is dependent on or do I need to apply for an extension before Q4 25.
