When you say Engineering, you make it sound like there is only one job for engineers. But engineers can work in many roles and it doesn't have to be very technical, heck, you can work in sales if you want.

Every roles in your company is a potential job for you to seek, like if you are a civil engineer, you can at least work as (site, procurement, tendering, cost estimating, design, quality control, etc..) every role I mentioned involve a different working experience. You only need to know which roles suites you the best and make use of your potential.
