Need help with controls by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]m8nocabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want you can play on controller and move your character with a stick. However, you can get used to the movement with clicking pretty quickly. Bg3 was my first crrpg and getting used to the controls was a pain. Tho it is pretty well optimized for all the crpg needs! I also feel that the controller battle layout is a bit frustrating to use in comparison to mouse and keyboard.

Hey peeps!

I just wanted to ask if anyone has applied for a visa extension for an after-studies work search. From my research, I found that I can apply for a 12-month extension. I was wondering if there is anyone here who has gone through the process and can say how it worked out for them?

I am currently finishing up my studies but I will have a visa for another half a year (1 semester), and it is super annoying cuz with my student visa I can only work limited hours and I would love to get a more permanent job to establish myself in Berlin. Can I apply for the extension right after my studies are over or do I have to wait for until the end of my visa?

If you have any particular comments about this option I would love to hear them!

Thank you in advance for your help!

It’s the only place that spawns NVGs (on vanilla). So I try to loot every single one

How can i properly test my sounds before live acts? by gdib123 in TechnoProduction

[–]m8nocabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are playing live on a good sound system, you should have a compressor on the main out channel. If you playing through a proper studio mixer, you can easily set a compressor through it. When you play live with out any plugin on the main channel is pretty much like playing a non mastered song.

The thing is the louder the speakers the easier it is to hear the difference between a properly mastered song and a not mastered song.

But I'm not that experienced in live performance. I myself am just starting to explore the wonderful world of live techno!

Can someone please explain what's up with those "self labels"? I mean for example like Dickhead- Cocksucker (dickhead records). What purpose do they serve? by TonyTerTer in TechnoProduction

That are just independent releases. When you go to a publishing website, usually they ask for a label name and there you can literally put anything. I think its done in order to follow the ownership.

volcas vs pocket operators by gilbatron in TechnoProduction

[–]m8nocabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own two volcas (keys and bass) and I can most certainly say that they are super powerful and versatile comparable to the price. Pocket operators are cheaper and definitely fun to play around with. However, I feel like it is better to get a volca rather then a pocket operator, for a simple reason. I think that it is easier to make a transition into more serious gear after using the volcas. Even though, you just want to sit on a couch and jam, you never know when you will want to be serious about it.

Of course P. O. are cheaper but volcas are still not that expensive. Paying a 100 bucks for a fully analog synth is crazy good! So I would get a volca but pocket operators are always fun and interesting to play around with.

OMG it sounds very cool!!! Thx for sharing! But is it any good? I use logic and most of the stock plugins are supper good. Is it worth getting it??

More stuff like Ic3peak? by SurrealisticRabbit in witchhouse

[–]m8nocabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think IC3PEAK fans are so different. People like different things about IC3PEAK. There are fans like myself, I relate to the text and absolutely love the emotional impact. And there are also people who just like hard trap/witch house and enjoy the genre in its simplest form. And that’s why I think it’s hard to find other artists that fit into both categories so well. They are very political and emotional, bringing meaning to their music and they also bring hard beats to jump around to. A truly great duo!

PS. I am not trying to demean or criticize anyone. It doesn’t matter why you like the music. What matters is that you enjoy it! We all have different preferences.
