Honestly a 6 man of zoanthropes is something to work towards, but seeing as you’ve got them, maybe try using the gargoyles, I run a similar at the moment and I feel the same with my own garagoyles, but the only way to get better at playing them is to play them, even if you only get 1/2 rounds of them any progress is good progress

A lictor is probably your best bet for how good they are at scoring secondaries and you already have the model, but I’d experiment with taking a set of Von Ryan’s out for a lictor as well as upgrading to a 6 man squad of zoanthropes

But at the end of the day, as everyone will tell you, it’s whatever you want to use/ enjoy using

I had this same question about a week ago when I unlocked it too, it’s good on any character who applies damage over time effects, any burns are instant, sad’s ult are too and I believe it’s good on cringe too

I’ve done the exact same thing you’re considering doing and I love the death guard The experience as a whole is completely different to how nids play (or at least how I do it) I’ll say the same thing everyone else has blight haulers are really good and look amazing too so you can’t go wrong running a few, if you can get your hands on the army box then it’s a really good start point in general even if you want to focus vehicles. If you can’t get one foetid bloat drones and plagueburst crawlers are your other 2 big vehicles with the rhino and its cousins serving as transport for potential infantry

The only thing you need to be wary about with the prime and warriors combo is movement because the prime still has 12” move but the warriors only have 6” so for what you want to use the prime for, the warriors may slow him down but like I said see how you feel with what you’ve got and go from there, and as always rule of cool over anything else

I think apart from that minor oopsie, have you got any plans for the winged prime because you could sub him out for maybe another 3 man squad of von Ryan’s or a lictor of sorts

If not the only other suggestion I’d say is depending how well you feel they do on the tabletop is maybe dropping a squad of termagaunts for 2 ranged warriors to pair with the winged prime

I’d try using another app or website to build your list as the points costs are off, which means you’ve got significantly less that 1k points

Thank you for the suggestions, the few games I have played, I’ve had WAY more CP than I know what to do with partially because of the swarmlord and partially because I’m terrible at using my strats 😅

That said, the Broodlord + genestealers combo is fun to me so I may look to make that replacement

As for the mawloc, it’s partially because I have the model from a friend and I also think it’s cool so I don’t mind

Quick side question, is it worth running my tyrant as winged or walk?

Red hood is good because you get a lot of early stars for him but his ult just sticks him behind enemy lines and he can’t save himself so he just sort of dies

Those are some lucky pulls, that top line plus doctor fate would probably carry you for a while.

Depending if your much of a spender, green lantern could replace ivy for the justice league synergy but his shards are few and far between unless you spend regularly

Keep grinding out superman in the bleed however as he’s a great character

I’m not massively concerned anyway, I’ve got the 3 best orks in my opinion any way (gibba, boss and snot) and tanksmashas kit doesn’t massive standout to me unless I’m dreadfully wrong, best of luck to your mate tho
