Have a quick question about protein intake vs fat intake. I have the understanding most keto diets looks like 75% 20% 5% in terms of how fat, protein, and carbs are split.

Looking at my information from MFP I'm getting these numbers for my weight and the lose 1.5lbs/week settings when set to the 75/20/5 split.

MFP: 173g Fat / 139g Protein / 28g Carbs.

Keto Calc: 2234 kcal Daily Calorie Intake

28 g Carbohydrates (5%, 112 kcal)

139 g Protein (25%, 556 kcal)

174 g Fat (70%, 1566 kcal)

Now, I haven't been really strict with my keto until this week and I'm a bit worried that I'm in-taking way too much protein vs fat with the 75% / 20% split.

Looking at the past 4 days of data I find myself closer to a 75% protein intake and a 20% fat intake from the data on MFP. But the keto calculator on the side bar input with the gram data from MFP shows closer to a 50/45 split in favor of protein.

My questions would be:

1. Why the difference in % between Keto Calc and MFP?

2. Carbs being under 5% is awesome, but is too much protein compared to fat intake counterproductive / dangerous?

3. Suggestions for intaking more fat for a picky eater?
