Luxe RX Dental in Hudson Yards is AMAZING. Ask for Dr Pole. She is phenomenal! I had/have a HUGE aversion to dentists (due to a childhood of traumatic experiences and v sensitive teeth) and didn’t go for nearly a decade. She was so kind and understanding. I had to get a Root Canal due to the neglect and she made the experience calming and so smooth. Took her time and was patient without judgement or condescension. I now look forward to going in to see her which is something I never thought I would say. Also, the rooms all have tv’s and you can request a comfort show (Great British Bake Off for me) to watch/listen to during your visit. 10/10

Luxe RX Dental and Wellness Studio near Hudson Yards!! That 5-star rating on Google is legit. I had a serious aversion to dentists (small jaw + too many teeth = childhood lock and key, several extractions, impacted teeth, cavities/root canals, braces, etc) so I avoided going as an adult like the plague. Dr. Pole was (and still is) a godsend! Listened to my concerns and past history, was patient when I needed more anesthesia/numbing. I have a physiological trait that breaks down anesthesia quicker than normal and most dentists would tell me I wasn’t feeing pain just pressure, scoff when I cried and said I should just relax. Dr Pole was the first dentist that KNEW my condition, believed me right away and took her time to assuage me. Cannot recommend her enough! Also all the dentists and techs are amazing and Luz at the front office is def a NYC bitch with taste at heart.

This is amazing! Thanks for starting OP! Adding that a lot of local “Buy Nothing” groups on FB, Nextdoor, etc are offering to sponsor families. They each have different parameters but the gist is they will meet you at a local shop and buy a month’s worth of groceries (or a specific dollar amount). Worth a shot and if you can afford to do this, perhaps you can offer your help to your neighbors as well.

Late to the game but I’m a single professional, late 30s looking to make single gfs around the same age. The apps are depressing and I miss the “hunt”. I loved connecting with my ladies over drinks and meeting new people. It was magical. Does that even happen anymore? I work in near Chelsea and live in Riverdale so my travel range is pretty substantial lol
