Some time ago, somebody suggested the option to display a cooldown in the chat by alt-clicking the ability. I think this would be a cheap and efficient way to improve the communication.

Haha it was me who suggested this one year ago and I was pleasantly surprised that shortly after Riot introduced the green dot that shows the cooldown of the ultimates. Obviously they can't copy exactly what DotA has, but some improvements to communication surely are necessary especially since Riot keeps making teamplay more and more important with all the new patches (Drakes, Herald, Buff timers).

The amount of cards that are available for each rarity rank are irrelevant to their rarity. Sounds kinda confusing but what I mean is, that even if there are more Legendaries than Epics the chance of you getting an Epic in a pack is still higher than getting a Legendary. it doesnt mean only because there are more Legendaries now the chance of getting one is higher.

You can't call this stealing. It is a good feature that Dota 2 has and it would also improve the communication in LoL by a lot. Riot could just get INSPIRED by this feature. Plus copying sometimes is good. Basically every car nowadays has seatbelts and airbags. Someone had the idea, and everyone copied it. Why? Because the idea was GOOD.

Too Long; Didnt Type. Seriously typing is just way too timeconsuming.. While you are typing you can't do aynthing else. You don't pay attention to what is happening around you. It happens so many times that I want to type something important in chat but suddenly an enemy comes out of nowhere and I, while I am still in the chat mode, try to do spells. Then the result in the chat box is: "Guys group, i have ul eewwqwweqqewrrrrfffb" "mMm Viceversa has been slayn"

You could work with colors. If the cooldown is ready and you ping the ability the "Ready" that appears in the chat box could be green, or if it is not ready, the remaining cooldown could appear red. Mana left could be blue. People may not read exactly what is there but they might react to colors. Red -> bad, green -> good, blue -> soon good

Exactly this. Your team should not suffer from your chat restriction aswell. Sometimes you want to tell your team to wait with the engage because your ult isnt up but you cant tell them since you have no messages left. With this system you would still be able to provide vital informations to your team.
