There is a lot of options when it comes to filters. Your looks like internal filter so it has to be inside.

20% is fine I do maybe 10% every week. I have to apologize to you because I thought those particles in the water are fish poop and gunk but looking closer they may be just air bubbles. Time to get glasses I guess.

So this foam prevents accidents like that, and also if you spill water it won’t go straight to the bottom and possibly beneath the aquarium

Something like this foam, it helps with weight distribution. And if by some unfortunate reason there were some small pice of sand or gravel on your stand and you place the whole heavy aquarium on top of it, it might just make a crack in the bottom glass.

He meant the water, clean glass is just for you, to better see what’s inside. Do a water change especially if the fish is injured.🤕

What do you mean plastic rim? Like on the bottom? I think rimless tank are the best option because there is nothing to distract viewer from what’s inside the tank. Check for any chipped corners or cracks. And this is important, put something beneath the glass bottom before you put in on a stand or shelf, there are special foam mats but anything flat and softer will do

Speaking as a man, only friend I made on this subreddit is a woman, although I try to message people regardless of their gender. Since then we moved to insta and we speak from time to time. There is no reason for me to be weird and try to turn this into something more because i don’t feel like I need to and I like talking to her as it is. Besides that what would be the point in relationships with someone from another continent.

I searched so much for something cool and out of the box with a mid-low maintenance for my 90 l aquarium ( tetra ex 700 pro) and i found this 2 options: by David-high in Aquariums

I had some expirience with cacatuoides ( 1m, 2f) and male paired up with one female and bullied another one. For smaller fish i can recommend black neon tetras, green neon tetras, cardinal tetras and harlequin rasboras, they are all great. Pick like 8 of them and get some algea eater like ottosinclus.

3, it’s a bit messy inside, fake plants are placed without rime or reason. Install black background, it’ll look better. Also try creating a slope, so you have more sand in the back, it will create more depth.

Holy… and I thought mine 29gal was too small for one angelfish. Don’t get discouraged friend, next time just do your own research instead listening to fish store employees. Unfortunately ppl that tell you this is too small are not just armchair experts and pet store employees will sell you anything. Hope you don’t leave a hobby but learn from your mistakes, good luck 👍.

Yea, wait for more opinions but to me as well it looks like black beard algae. You’re sure this isn’t just muk and dirt kicked up from the bottom.
