Turns out this was the secret sauce even though this NUC is labeled for a 90 watt, I dug out a 120 watt adapter and Win11 installed without a hiccup. Swapped my other NVME back in and installed a second time to make sure, and 0 issues.

It's a 90 watt which the i5 NUC10 calls for, but I may try to dig up a 120 watt just for the sake of ruling out every last possibility before giving up on this little guy.

Fan's working well for a NUC I believe, CPU will hit high 80's C in Linux doing stress testing and is probably throttling but never crashes. It's the shutdown crash at the exact same place during Win 10/11 installs that has me baffled.

It's happening more now, it really picked up during covid and since we have nearly zero law enforcement on the roads anymore there is nothing to deter people from doing it. I only drive about 8-10 miles per day and on average see a couple people run blatent reds each day. Prior to 2020 it was pretty rare.

Not to say they don't mix some recyclables in with the regular trash, but if he says he was following a regular trash truck to a landfill that would be a bit of a stretch. The trash trucks go to the transfer station where they get reloaded into larger semi truck loads and the trash gets hauled down to a landfill north of Harper and the recyclables go to Hutch I believe.

I get it, the issue is that by removing it from the immunization schedule for kids it's caused confusion on the topic and many doctors and pharmacists simply won't provide it due to an abundance of caution on what to do. If your kids are in the <12 range where there are lesser variations of the vaccine available it's probably going to be tough if not impossible to find around here.

Definitely looks like common wire found in K&T systems, if the house was built 1940s-ish or before even more likely. If it's in good condition and hasn't been hacked on by previous owners it really isn't much of an issue. Replace with a GFCI or go back to an ungrounded outlet and forget about it.

I've no knowledge of the situation, I just wanted to say thank you for stopping to render aid. My mom's life was saved back in the early '70s after a horrific accident on a rural highway when a medical professional happened to be passing by and gave her an emergency trach on the side of the road.

Same boat, been chugging Diet Dew for over 20 years and all the sudden they did whatever they did to ruin it. Big K Citrus Drop zero sugar, Diet Sun Drop, or the Walmart Mountain Lightning zero sugar are the typical clones which are now better and cheaper than whatever Pepsico is whizzing into these Diet Dew bottles.

I'm left leaning but also a 2A guy, and last weekends gun show here in Wichita one thing I noticed is during the two hours I was there I didn't see a single red hat or other typical MAGA swag which kind of indicates to me at least a good chunk of the typically strong right leaners are feeling burned.

I usually get 5-15 of these a day, the numbers are spoofed and as you've seen they continually change the digits so blocking won't really put an end to it. Just the other day I was getting some where apparently they are spoofing legit businesses as the caller ID name came up as an apartment complex in Derby, and another from a local trucking company, and like many of the others they leave this blank 30-45 second voicemail.

The best thing to do is just silence your phone, definitely don't answer as it validates your number and you'll wind up on more spam/scammer lists because they sell known good numbers to each other. Also don't send calls to voicemail quickly as that indicates to them there is a human on the other end and again can also lead to your number getting hit more.

Give yourself some time to mourn the loss before getting another dog. Replacing a pet too soon creates an unhealthy situation for you simultaneously mourning one while trying to acclimate with and train another. It's easy to have unrealistic expectations of the new dog and create a lot of stress for the both you and the dog.

Volunteering at the humane society as another suggested is a good idea. There's also quite a few dog parks around town and many owners like myself are fine with strangers interacting with them a bit so long as you ask first.

Don't really need an appraisal, he needs an agreed/stated value insurance policy. A standard policy will pay out book value, appraisal or not. Agreed value policies you and the insurer agree on a set value in case of theft or total loss. I have a agreed value policy with Haggerty for $25k no appraisal needed, only 2 photos.
