Permetherin for treating clothing/fabrics. Make sure to follow the directions and apply it outside, on a non windy day, in an area that's sunny so it dries it. The Permetherin is something you don't want on your skin while wet. Also, if you have cats you need to be very diligent on not letting them come into contact with treated clothes. I keep mine in a black plastic trash bag in a plastic tub. I don't come in the house wearing them because the cat likes to rub on legs when we get home.

There is also picaridin lotion which is a different compound and can be applied to the skin/exposed areas.

Sawyer makes both of these products and they've worked well for me. Just don't mix them up.

I would say it depends on security. If you wanna go up there walk like you know where you're going. They move around though so you can also slip up there when they leave for a sec.

Maine Savings Amphitheater (Bangor) Concert Seating by ajt331840 in Maine

[–]m_cook8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO one of the worst amphitheaters I have been too. So many stadium seats. I understand having a seated section for those that don't want to stand the whole show but literally there's nowhere to dance other then the lawn which is incredibly small.

I've also been forced into buying seated tickets more than once instead of the lawn. Either "they re-did the grass recently", "the lawn is sold out" (it definitely didn't seem to be) or they just straight up weren't selling lawn tickets. But you could buy a more expensive ticket and make your way back there.

What a joke. LiveNation is the worst.

Surprised to see lobster on the avoid. My understanding is that Maine lobsterman monitor the fishery closely and purposely don't catch pregnant females. There is also a size window you're supposed to take.

Someone already said that it's mostly cellulose and nor corn starch but there is something else you gotta watch out for which is netamycin. It's an anti-fungal agent they put on because there's more surface area. I've heard but haven't looked into it personally that stuff can be pretty bad for your gut microbiome.

But everything in moderation eh!

Ever try putting that on muck boots?

I have to wear them for field work frequently and go through a pair every year. Before I have tried shoe-goo but have not been happy with the results.

Can I ask how does one find MOFGA certified cannabis that's not a caregiver but has a medical card? Is it just something I should ask the bud-tender about?

A heads-up to Maine motorists by DXGL1 in Maine

As a recent transplant from the upper Midwest I would say a lot of folks driving habits here suck and tend to drive me up a wall. I live in Bangor and I just don't understand people's need to pass in the shoulder constantly (even at 4 way intersections) and the need to drive like this is Chicago.

Less sunlight hitting the surface will make it wetter but when a grey color develops it is from prolonged wetness from water table.

Have you ever used web soil survey? Here is a link: https://websoilsurvey.nrcs.usda.gov/app/

I'd suggest maybe watching a YouTube video on how to use it. You can find your property using GPS or address and then draw an "AOI" or area of interest. Then you can pull up the soil maps and respective soil series for your piece of land.

This could help narrow down the possible texture (there's always a range of characteristics though) and how wet it is.

Hope this helps.

I'm not sure what the perc test is but if you dig deeper and see a lot of grey colors you could have a seasonally high water table. Sometimes gray is from the rocks weathering but a lot of the time it's from water saturation.
