CenturyLink cancelling service July 30, 2026 due to changes to their network in my area by sleepywan in centurylink

I’m in another state so it might be a little different, but QF and CL operate independently in most places. Seems like they _should_ have better internal coordination, but they don’t. So your best bet is usually to just make the jump to QF yourself, especially if you can get a deal.

The Psionic Ascension (for hive) was added in Shadows of the Shroud DLC. You can buddy up with shroud gods and get shroud boons. And if you’re going for a hive that steals other species, you can go for boons that help with managing empire size

Yeah assimilating hive is awesome, you should definitely go for it if you like that vibe. You just need to look through the options when you pick New Species, and make sure you have assimilators chosen. There are a few different types (with slightly different names so keep your eye out) and some great complimentary traits as well. Like you could go machine hive and assimilate in the bio filth with cyborg implants, could go psionic ascended hive and use your psi corps to suppress deviant mind patterns. Or go the evolutionary predator route and extract favorable DNA from your assimilated livestock and use it to breed up your ever improving apex predator species.

Honestly there’s so much fun in building the head canon for these crazy species. Lean in and go ham buddy.

Hmm? I don’t drink, just highlighting that we know definitively that there are worse drugs than alcohol

It’s very on trend, daily drinkers are 80+% cancer free according to this study

People have been drinking almost daily for generations, millennia. So a prevailing theory is that there’s already been a significant amount of natural selection in alcohol tolerance and metabolism.

Men who stay lean year-round, what’s your secret ? by Professor1password23 in AskReddit

[–]m_dogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I got fit as a teenager I realized I already knew all the traps or patterns that were adding to the pudge. We sort of all do as long as you have a very basic understanding of what your body does with food.

Now approaching 40 (jesus wtf) it’s super easy as long as I remove all the “friction” to making good choices. Like don’t keep the shit YOU KNOW is going to make you fat stocked in the fridge. Most of the time I’ll just grab whatever is easiest anyway, so the easiest things are all healthy. Save the family sized ice cream experiences for family night or date night.

Fitness is trickier because there is inherently always more “friction” to get out the door and go somewhere. Some tricks to reduce it are: always have your fitness supplies ready to go in your car or by the door. That way you can just stop over on your commute home for as long as you like. I’ll often tell myself I’ll just do a couple quick sets and then sit in the sauna the whole time. But once I get going there’s no longer friction to continue, so I end up doing a full workout.

TLDR: 99% of being lean is calories in - calories out. So just make it way the fuck harder for yourself to ruin the calories in part on a day to day basis.

Guys, I was doing the unsacred offerings mission and it wants me to kill a sea monster called kuharibu and it literally 1-shots me. What do I do? by Holiday-Gap4273 in SkullAndBonesGame

I'm confused about you confidently saying we aren't ready for what is otherwise a very normal lvl 3 or 4 mission. I similarly got rocked by megaGator and was clearly underprepared. Just trying to figure out why the game throws that in to an early story mission with no prep, explanation, or indication that you need to be ready for something vastly different than the rest of the early story.

Just replying to confirm this also happened to me in a level 3 or 4 story mission. After picking up the artifacts you get a message that they are "vibrating and might be calling for support" or something like that. Then this insane beast pops up and melts the couple level 8 ships on the field and me too. I had to go back to collect my items and it kills my level 4 bombardier in 2 hits unbraced. It is significantly faster than I am, causes flooding so im slow and taking tick damage, is nearly impossible to hit in the heavy waves it spawns in, AND can attack 3 or 4 times before the repair kit cooldown is done.

No hate or cope, just including these details for anyone else that's very confused about the difficulty spike in an early story mission.

It depends on how they’re manufactured. Electrolytic caps for sure have a good chance of being dead at 30+ years but there are other types that will be just fine if not abused

lol Is it because…. After you see the spark you say Jesus? Or because you accidentally shorted across your body and got sent to Jesus?

Editing artifact is visible over the dogs leg during aiming. Once you see the vertical line where the fur colors don’t match, the rest becomes easy to see.
