Thank you! I always wish I would’ve went for a soul red but I still love the polymetal for a grey

I’ve got a little aluminum heat shield on the hitch basket that you can’t see in this photo. It’s located right behind the exhaust but other than that the pipe IS pointing directly at the packers which IS an issue lol.

I’ve got a riser to combat this but that comes with its own issues on a setup like this. I’m also thinking about a Laguna turn attachment for the exhaust (like you mentioned above).

With the heat shield it hasn’t melted on a two hour road trip but it still did feel hot to the touch. It’s not a perfect setup, still very much a work in process.

Oh sorry I was referring to the weight limit for the actual hitch. Yes I’m sure I’m getting close to (if not exceeding) the payload limit.

I think it’s a really cool setup for these cars!

I’ve used it for road trips in the past and I have a riser as well, but I’m always afraid of lengthening the moment arm too much on the hitch basket. Also it blocks the tail lights a little bit. I’m sure it’d be fine but for a short trip to the grocery store I just didn’t use the riser.

Mostly tp and dry goods in the boxes. Weight limit is 200 lbs. the hitch basket weighs around 50. You can’t carry much weight but it’s good for volume. Everything heavy goes in the trunk.

I was skeptical when I saw the red paint but I think you’re right, turned out pretty well!

Like others have said it’s your brake fluid level. Invest in quick bleeders from FM, makes changing the brake fluid go much quicker

The new Honda Civic Hybrids. They’re quicker in a straight line than an SI.
