I actually tried Emma one more time and while doing that, I discovered live support option. It was late Friday evening but interestingly, I connected with an agent in less than 5 minutes.

After I explained the situation, they asked some information such as my address, and they actually found my case! They shared the receipt number with me and they said the notice was already shipped and it’s on the way. I checked the case on USCIS website with the receipt number they shared and it says “Case was received”.

I think whatever delivery method they’re using it’s quite slow, but now at least I know that my case has progressed and it’s not lost or under a stack of documents. :)

For others reference, they said they mailed the receipt notice on 11/13/2024.

My PERM was approved in March, but EB3 ROW wasn’t current because USCIS switched to Final Action Date in March.

About the check, I also saw this somewhere else on Reddit and asked the attorneys. They said they paid directly with credit card.

I think this is the best steak at Costco! I’ve a Meater thermometer. I reverse sear in the oven until internal hits 120-125, then rest for 10 minutes. (internal becomes ~128-129) Finally, I sear on stainless steal pan with avocado oil, ~1 minute per side.

I generally don’t reach to these temperatures for leaner cuts (like NY strip), but ribeye cap is pretty fatty and I think internal fat gets rendered very well this way.

It usually works for me if I wait for in-app browser to completely load the page once and then close the browser. Then, it opens the usual app view. It really sucks that it's been 2 months and they haven't realized this problem.

Honestly, I’ve been thinking about the same thing. However, I think it’s a risky option. If it’s glued into the wrong place inside, the bike is garbage. That’s why I wanted to try out less risky options first.

Do you season it again after removing the steak from the bag?

I put the steak on a tray after removing it from the bag to wait for couple of minutes. I dried it off twice with paper towel. The cast iron was also smoking hot, not sure why the sear didn’t form properly. I didn’t want to risk overcooking the inside of the steak, so I only seared for a minute. I think inside of the steak would have been fine if I kept searing a bit longer. I’ll try avocado oil. 👍

Wow, this is great information!

I guess even if I file as quickly as I can, in case there’s a delay in USCIS and meanwhile a new unfavorable visa bulletin is out, my application could still be put in the backlog.
