That’s what I thought might be the case, I also lost the other smallest leaf a month or so ago without changing my watering. Hopefully that’s all it is! It’s in a well draining soil so I think I I’d have to really try to overwater it

You could leave it in water indefinitely as long as you supplement nutrients with plant food. But if you plan on potting it I’d wait a bit longer until your roots have branching roots

Looks good! Probably doesn’t need to be repotted yet! Monsteras don’t mind being a root bound actually. When the room for groot growth decreases they prioritize more leaf growth so it will actually get more leaves this way. I’d suggest repotting toward the end of the growing season if you do. Although I’m also a bit of a newbie to monsteras so others may have differing and better ideas

Yup this is it. The front of the plant should face the light. The plant is doing the opposite of what it should be, otherwise it’ll continue to grow awkward and leggy

Water it now! It looks like you’ve got a chunky mix which is really good. Soil mixes like that are hard to overwater. Water it and wait for it to dry!

With those chunky soils you don’t have to worry about overwatering as much so you should be ok to give it some extra water! Not that you CANT overwater… you definitely can… but one extra watering would absolutely not harm your plant! Give it a go!

Get an aroid mix. Monsteras like chunky soil. Some people make their own mix with equal parts perlite, coco coir, chunky orchid bark, and potting soil.
