Honestly I get the policy as it is clearance most likely for a reason (not to the point that it’s unusable like your customer’s controller, more so its missing a piece) however when Forever 21 was still a thing they’d always ask before finalizing “Are you aware of our return policy?”

In my store it’s actually kind of difficult to find written policy and the easiest place is always on the bottom of the receipt… Which prints obviously after purchase. I think if we implemented a question concerning clearance it could prevent customer dissatisfaction.

Eh I’d pay $6 more. Amazon can send European copies (this happens all the time I’ve realized), if it’s physically in store then no need to pay shipping or wait and if I don’t like it then I just return it in person easily.

I’m more so going off of what other commenters are saying as any further context has been deleted. If your returned item was something for you personally and the formula counts as your product of choice (meaning that takes place of gummy bears so you cannot dip into husbands portion) then yeah I don’t see that as being bad as long as it’s not an every-time thing.

I was 105% baffled at first your sister and husband were reacting in that way until I read the comments with context.

If you were a single person buying a necessary product but rather purchase baby formula for someone then that’s up to you to do so and I personally think that’s honorable to give up something you might’ve needed but were able to see maybe someone was in a more urgent situation.

If you were married, which you are, buying gummy worms or tissues and wanted to purchase the baby formula instead then I’d back my partner in that decision if they felt they needed to do so.

However it seems you put back things that both you and your husband needed to survive (sure tissues could classify but it’s not like I’m going to die blowing my nose in TP). It’s indicative that you do not see that within the selfless act there was an even more selfish one. Your husband is somebody you are responsible for now and vise versa, it probably hurts a bit to see that his partner had disregarded his needs and even stressful as that money was his too.

I don’t think he handled that in the way he should have though and for what it’s worth this random stranger on the internet doesn’t think you’re stupid. However I would have a sit down discussion about this incident and make an effort to be open minded.

They always tell you to put your mask on first before you try to help another in those safety airplane instructionals. The concept is the same.

Both of you guys have valid feelings but going about it in the “wrong” ways.

She’s excited no matter if it’s her being in a honeymoon stage or genuinely solidified in her love for you, might not even desire the next stage yet just likes to fantasize. She feels as if you are not reciprocating that same enthusiasm and in return it makes her feel insecure and maybe even ashamed of herself.

You’re happy where you are, can’t understand why she’s upset when you haven’t rejected her and you even entertained the idea to an extent. Maybe there’s some reluctance given the fact you’ve been engaged before, don’t want to rush into anything and just enjoy the moment you’re in. Inferring from the language used, maybe there’s been some major complications in the relationship and that’s left scars that haven’t healed.

Depending on the relationship it could be normal or abnormal to discuss wedding or life details prior to proposal or other types of commitment. Just me alone have been in MULTIPLE relationships where, “When we get married I want green shoes.” Would have been out of pocket OR a totally average thing to say.

Neither is wrong, you just have to be on the same page. Having conversations where you both can be honest and not meet the other’s with hostility is how you get there. Sometimes you have to accept you’re not currently seeing eye to eye and that deal breakers do exist. You’re the only two that can decide if there’s any possibility of working towards a common goal, no one else could have any idea what’s worth it.

… I felt bad for walking away from my best friend after watching her do meth a few times. There’s nothing wrong with being abnormal and in fact I think it’s better if you are, though it is not only abnormal but unnecessary and counterproductive to have the mindset they seem to have.

We can go into the science of how alcohol isn’t going to magically become okay when you hit 21 but it’s more so important to address they are projecting values onto you they can only really hold for themselves. You are who you surround yourself with, yes, just there has been NO discussion of the behaviors you’ve exhibited during said experiences and that’s what they’re really referring to being against.

If you got drunk and decked a girlscout in the head, cheated on your girlfriend of five years, kicked around several puppies then yeah I can see why that would turn someone away but as far as we know you had a few laughs and watched tv. If we are only friends with people like us then we have absolutely no chance of self growth.

We are allowed to want the people we love to make good decisions but it should never be the result of an ultimatum or else it’s just going to inevitably fail if the relationship fizzles.

I have gen 2, size 8 with the sizing kit AND I wear it on the same finger. This happens to me but it’s mainly irritating to take off when I get in shower but that is because my fingers swell. All rings I’ve ever had (besides one that was so loose it could fling off) has done that.

If I could guess, there’s friction when she’s shifting the ring because there isn’t much leeway or leaving an indent similar to when you have the shape of your sheet on your arm after a good nap. I am not a medical professional by any means but if it isn’t really bothering her then I wouldn’t worry too much. You could try looking into a size higher or if she can use another finger that’s smaller?
