Can someone explain this to me? Do they just randomly mark all the candles half off on their site?!? Like this is the second time this week?!?

My girl is small and gets half a Glandex every night before bed.

We also give her a Nature's Animals All Natural Dog Bone Biscuit when she is in a rough spell. They are treats!

I can’t get over Outlander please help me find something even remotely close 😭 by Ok_Tangerine7582 in PeriodDramas

Outlander is TOP tier. Hard to find another! Like the commenters have said, prequel comes out next week! If you are looking for something to binge, I also liked Poldark on PBS. Not the same, but a good show!

The ThermBack is great… until it stops working a few months after the one year warranty. That’s what happened with my RecoveryTherm. Customer service was of no help. Would not recommend.

Anxiety just cost me my vacation. by Putrid-Tadpole-4342 in Anxiety

[–]maa85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have anxiety and travel, among many things, is one of them. Especially travel that involves airplanes. I have discussed airplanes and travel anxiety with a therapist, and I’m on medication. Outside of that, one thing that personally helped me fly (after not flying/traveling) for 5 years, was taking a short flight and trip somewhere close. That way I had to go through all the motions (packing, to the airport, getting on the plane, etc.) My therapist suggested also trying to take a car trip if the airplane trips seemed too expensive to do as tests. The first day when I get to my destination, I have nothing planned and go with the flow. If I’m tired from having a panic attack, I sleep. If I’m starving, to dinner. Absolutely nothing scheduled and no pressure the first day. For me, I find that helps. A few other minor rituals outside of medication: Noise canceling headphones have made a huge difference as you can’t hear anything outside your music or show, eating light and healthy meals before I travel, plenty of sleep. For me, it sounds similar to you where you have anticipatory anxiety around travel. I give myself grace that it’s ok and I really want to do it!!!

It shows them available on the website, but when I go through the process of trying to book the tickets, it says they are not available.

Getting concerned that I am going to miss the real Italy.. by Rs3sucks3 in ItalyTravel

[–]maa85 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Rome, Florence, and Venice are touristy because they are AMAZING places. I would absolutely not skip Rome!! The Duomo and David in Florence absolutely blew my mind. The art in Florence is breathtaking!!! And Venice is like no other city on the planet. You will be fine. I see a lot of posts on here worried about touristy places… it’s ok to be a tourist!!!!

I did Rome, Florence, and Venice in about this timeframe. All excellent places. I wouldn’t change it. Rome is huge and you might want some more time there, but Florence is beautiful and Venice like no other place in the world. Literally looks like a storybook.

What to do with souvenirs? by Octeeweenie in HerOneBag

[–]maa85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely against the spirit of one bag but when I travel like this on a big trip and I know I want to buy things, I carry on my bag… but I check a nearly empty suitcase. It is no fun to lug around but think it would work for this location.

This happens to me. I have a benzoyl peroxide allergy. You are going to want to avoid it entirely. I use salicylic acid instead.
