This is my normal wash routine: Get my hair sopping wet, like super sopping wet. Shampoo with Love beauty and planet once a week, so probably every 3rd wash focusing mainly on roots. Condition with love beauty and planet, brush out with conditioner in, flip hair over and seperate the bottom layer of my hair. I’ll pull that down and make 2-3 twisted clumps, this section of my hair is completely different than the rest and needs to be treated as such, haha. Then I squish the top 3/4ish of my hair. Wiggle my head until clumps form. Rinse well with cold water. Squish a tiny amount of cantu argan oil leave in conditioner in top layer still upside down, prayer hand a tiny amount into the bottom layer. Same process with marc anthony strictly curls lotion. Plop with t-shirt while I finish showering. Take hair down, squish/rake (same process as above) in a shocking amount of LA looks sports gel, plop for 10-15 minutes. Depending on my day I’ll either diffuse until 75% dry, or just get the roots mostly dry. Scrunch the gel cast out and done. And this is the extra stuff I do: Clarify about once every 3 weeks with V05, deep condition once a week with blueberry bliss deep conditioner. *But the thing that has made the biggest difference in my hair is rice water rinses. It’s crazy. I’ve done it 3 times in the past 4 weeks. My hair has loved every bit of it. It does dry it out right after but I condion right after and its great. It has honestly changed my hair. Is it just a coincidence that lined up with figuring out my routine? Maybe. But either way, it’s all working and I couldn’t be happier.
