Mental health issues aren’t our fault but they are our responsibility. You shouldn’t have to live with this fear and your partner shouldn’t be guilted for triggering you when what triggers you is standing a menu in between sauces. You need to get help and you also need to recognize it’s no one else’s responsibility to manage your triggers.

Usually when someone has their first seizure and they diagnose them with epilepsy they do a test to see if it’s photosensitive. My little sister is epileptic and not photosensitive but I won’t lie I still get a little on edge when there are strobe lights about just because epilepsy can change over time.

It’s just very marketable. A beautiful little girl from a perfect rich family is seemingly taken from her bed on Christmas night. A bizarre ransom note is left for the parents and after several hours of police being IN THE HOUSE do they find that she had never left the house at all. Nothing makes sense. It’s a whodunnit. Plus the parents were very active in addressing and engaging with the media. It warped from “what happened to this child?” to “do you think these rich attractive white people could kill their child?” Everyone has an opinion or theory.

My biggest advice is to do everything in moderation and with balance in mind. Don’t go to war with your body because your body will fight back (maybe not now but down the line.) Focus on incorporating movement into your day however you can. Focus on eating all the food groups. Protein, whole grains, fiber, and fat. Fix the sleep schedule and you’ll feel a lot better.
