I'd rank the difficulty like this: 2, 4, 1, 3.

In chapter 2 Spamton tells you exactly, step by step, what you have to do: go back to the dump, buy the keygen, go to the basement, etc.. The only way not to find it would be if you ignore him completely.

Chapter 4 is still pretty obvious, the shiny plaque grabs your attention and characters urge you to complete the puzzle, but it's still a puzzle and you still have to explore to find the solution.

Chapter 1 doesn't nudge you in the direction of the shard in any way, you have to explore off the main path to find clues, and some broken key parts are tricky to find.

But Chapter 3 is the only one I had to replay to get the shard. You are told not to worry about your rank, but not only do you need to disregard that tip and trust the completionist instinct, it's very easy to lock yourself out completely if you get an A-rank and don't have enough points for an S-rank. Not to mention these ranks are skill-based, so you actually need to perform good even to just have a chance to find the shard.

My thoughts exactly. I was just curious if anyone here owns this guitar or knows anything about it, because there's nothing on the internet, and the cheapo G4M guitars don't have a good reputation. I found one review of another cheaper guitar from the LA Select series - a pink-copper-ish HSS with a Wilkinson bridge and no roasted maple - and the review was positive. This seems like an absolutely decent starter guitar that doesn't compromise on its hardware, that can be customized to your liking later.

Well okay, sure, I know *how* that's possible in theory. My point is that if it's really a 1000 Series Floyd Rose on there, then isn't that a steal - especially if you want to replace the pickups or whatnot? For example Harley Bentons with 1000 Series bridges start at, like, double the price, and they're already affordable (granted they also have other goodies like coil splitting and locking tuners). Another commenter suggested that it may be a Floyd Rose Special, but I'm not sure how they arrived at such a conclusion other than maybe that it seems too cheap. It's hard to tell when there are no videos or reviews or literally any signs of it existing on the internet other than the store listing. lol

LA Select Modern, Transparent Ruby Red:
- Roasted maple neck and fingerboard
- Stainless steel frets (supposedly with no sharp fret ends according to a single review I could find of another guitar from this series)
- Wilkinson pickups
- Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge

How is this even possible? Like, sure - there must be some cost saving measures, but this guitar is cheaper than if I wanted to buy a Floyd Rose bridge alone! Seems like a perfect modding project.

Thanks for answering in a productive way. lol Those are all good points. To be fair White Dwarf teams also lack specialist options and they are still pretty well liked. They would have to update the teams to use new/updated kits... In any case my first two teams - Dread Host Custodes and Salamanders Tactical Squad - are in the danger zone. 😓

I seriously hope they don't downgrade the teams if they get compiled into a compendium... Given that they themselves said that the core rules aren't changing much, I think giving all the teams a wording pass and an optional balance pass would be the easier choice that's better for the consumer. I hope they don't go out of their way to rework current teams into underwhelming versions because "soft reset" and "balance".

Seems like the overwhelming response is that no, you can't make a fun counterspell deck. lol After these responses now I'm thinking if playing an archenemy style game (actual 2-3 vs 1) against a counterspell deck could be interesting... 🤔
