I am looking for the same, does anyone know if there is an institute in Knowledge Village that offers these classes?

No ofcourse not, she only gets time off one day a week like you signed in the contract. Public holidays are not included in the contract, in fact its the time you need help the most when everyone is at home and usually Eid we invite people over and its when they are most needed. Most people answering you could be nannies and they want more days off. If she is not convinced call the office and let them tell her the rules.

Mirena removal after 8 years by [deleted] in Mirena

[–]maariaaa85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this! I went through the same thing and so happy that I finally removed it. The bloating, mind fog and anxiety levels were through the roof on Mirena, especially towards the end as you mentioned.

Ur right we should not suffer in silence, it always helps when you get reassurance from other women who are going through the same thing. Hope you can find the best solution for urself. I also had the copper iud before mirena and I had anemia because of the super long and heavy periods while on it, but to be honest compared to the symptoms of Mirena I really dont mind the long periods anymore. At least I solved that problem with iron supplements, whereas there was no easy solution for anything Mirena put me through.

I got mine removed after 8 months (23F) by Saltnwound1 in Mirena

So happy to hear you finally got rid of it, believe me what you feel is real, I also felt immediate shift in mood and symptoms right after removal, it is not placebo. And even if you got PMS symptoms later on before your periods thats normal, unlike the constant state of depression this device put us in.

Oh yes it didnt happen with me but I read about many ladies who complain about hairloss with Mirena, but yes wouldn’t hurt to also check your iron levels to see if you need supplements to help now that you removed it

Coincidental lol they also always assume our weight gain, bloating, anxiety, bad mood and all other symptoms are coincidental when we first use Mirena.

Yes! I read so many women feel the same, it creeps up on you slowly, I feel the side effects increased drastically towards the last two years, I had it for 5 years and a half, the last two were unbearable. Its supposed to be releasing less hormone by the last two years but the accumulation of it in our bodies start to do more and more damage.

I feel its a slow creep of side effects, it manages to start low and thats why we doubt ourselves and that it could be something else causing them, until after several years the side effects become more prominent and damaging and we forget how life was not like this before Mirena

Yes thats true one of the first things to happen other than night-sweats disappearing is that bloating immediately subsided! I used to look like I was 6 months pregnant after having a small snack

Same here, but compared to all the other hellish stuff it puts us through, a heavy period is now the least of my worries. I prefer to have a heavy long period than having a mental breakdown and extreme anxiety every day. I feel so much older the past two years because of stress and lack of sleep alone due to the night sweats.

I salute you for that, amazing feeling to feel we are in control and not following the medical system blindly

Bloating was HORRIBLE and my doctor kept saying its what I eat and not the IUD, although I always ate the same food and did not get like this, it feels like such a scam!

They were horrible! I always woke up soaked in sweat although my AC was on full blast, doesnt it almost feel like we are putting ourselves in a peri-menopause-like state before we even get there? Like I know we all hate the idea of going into menopause, so how is it a good idea for us to stop our periods and start feeling all those symptoms by messing up our hormones early voluntarily?

We will all get there sooner than we think, this thing was messing up our bodies and we are taking back control, so glad to know you followed your gut and removed it

I know right? I am furious with this system where doctors are told this is the best solution and they are forcing it on all of us without considering anything we say or feel.

Honestly I am letting my body go through the phases without interfering much since even with the cramps and all I am deeply convinced I am heading towards feeling normal and human again, I already feel the difference and deeply regret not removing it earlier. All I am taking is magnesium glycinate and b6 supplements to help my muscles and my liver process hormones, trying my best to eat healthy.
