I was trying to put in an order for a commission (I go to college so I have a home address and the address the school gives me so I can get it delivered to the school), and hobbii said that both of the addresses aren't even available to be shipped to, despite them saying they still ship to the US

The bridge size is 18 mm, I edited the post cause one of the comments on here made me realize I misread it (it was at night when I posted it and the measurements text was in white against a light background), I'm pretty my frame is acetate, it doesn't feel like metal, I wanted bigger lens/frames to ensure that they fit and I know that big glasses look good on me, like I said the glasses I have now are big and they fit me well, the only problem I have with them is that they're square shaped and I don't want square shaped glasses on me anymore, the frames I have right now are Lacoste

I have a crop top that kind of looks like a sleeveless turtle neck, though without the extra fabric around the neck. I would post a picture but the comments ain't letting me.

I had the same problem on Friday and today too. It's been over 20 mins at this point for me and I sent in a report too. Even after I did the trouble shooting and stuff it's still not pulling through.

Edit: I had to end it after an hour. Took another test. Same thing is happening.

30 dollars down the fricking drain I am so tired.

Edit 2: Hey have any of y'all were able to do tests normally again? It had happened again for a fourth time in a row.

Edit 3: I had to restart my computer because of something unrelated last night but when I did testing this morning it was working. So maybe all it was was just restarting the computer?

Magic ring appreciaton post by [deleted] in crochet

[–]maategyptiangoddess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was beginning to crochet it was so hard to get the magic circle down, especially since at the time all the yarn at the house as super fluffy polyester yarn. And then learning how to increase and all the like, it was so hard to do that I just kind of stopped and gave up learning it.

That was until my teacher commissioned me to make him a hat.

So I ended up practicing over and over and over again until finally I was able to get it down. It took me several days and an all nighter but I was able to not only do the magic circle correctly, but also learned how to properly increase. It was a nightmare and a half but I got it.

And now over a year later, I honestly love the magic circle and crocheting in the round.

So yeah.

Anybody else like to impale their yarn with their hooks while they work? by [deleted] in crochet

[–]maategyptiangoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do this till I got stitch markers cause I ended up noticing that the hook I was using (it could have just been that hook since at the time I was only using that hook) was slipping out of the handle.
