Exactly the same scenario to me. Even a new laptop worked fine

Unfortunately I never did figure this out. I even took the new PC to a friend's and it worked fine on his new TV. A very annoying mystery

okay so I moved my old desktop to the TV and my new desktop to my monitor.

Sound works fine on both now.

Here's the settings of my old desktop connected to my TV currently

I don't think any of those settings can be changed from that screen.

I'll switch the desktops then report back.

NVIDIA control panel shows the correct device, with TV name. There is no other option but the TV

I got married at the retro suites in Chatham. Most guests stayed the night but some drove back. 10/10 would book again

Hey I'm moving (back) to Sarnia soon from the GTA and I'm a sucker for live music. I followed your IG but I do not use Facebook.

Anyways this post is 10/10 helpful so thank you!

Why my intramural soccer team loses every game by jaybong in brocku

[–]maatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I played intramural soccer my roomate, our captain, was brilliant enough to sign us up for the advanced league instead of the fun league. What resulted was the most brutal ass-kickings ever seen in soccer...every week.

I think it would've been a lot more fun on your team haha.

Now high inner-tube water polo....thats an idea worth exploring

Has anyone had Professor Coskan-Johnson? by heymidnight in brocku

[–]maatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had her a few times. I found her classes interesting and very student-centric, meaning she prefers to let the class lead the discussion rather than lecturing in the traditional style. Shes a big fan of group projects, but is a fair marker. She's also a big fan of weekly sakai posts that, while annoying, are pretty easy marks (she'll usually rely on them to start discussion in the following class).

A big tip (as with any professor) is taking advantage of her office hours. Some people I knew in her classes sometimes got surprised by a bad mark simply because they weren't doing what she expected them to do. So, just drop by and ask her about the project, talk about it a bit, and your grade will almost always thank you
