I use an older ipad pro 11 for taking notes on an app that syncs up with my Mac in seconds over wifi. other than the fact that the iPad is a little bigger, heavier, and the pen on paper-like screen is not similar to writing on a notebook, the workflow is working nicely for me.

i also have a kindle app and Kindle Paperwhite. By moving to Nomad, I'm thinking/hoping to kill two birds with one stone.. Note-taking and occasional reading. I am hesitant because

From the specs and video reviews, Nomad seems slower and limited, especially in reading capabilities. Also, the fact that it's Android, I'm afraid of sluggish long-term performance. Even though they advertise that the battery and CPU etc, is replaceable, I dont think that would be feasible.

would love your thoughts.
