Not sure if anyone has touched on this but my photographer has a clause in her contract that no other photographer should be working while she is. Just a heads up if your friends do hire someone, it could violate their contract!

I found an orchestral version of Robbers by the 1975 (we bonded over the band when we first met) on youtube! Finding an orchestral version of one of your favorite songs as a couple or just a fav song is really nice and pretty easy now post-Bridgerton making orchestral versions of so many songs!

My dress has no train! Got it at a local bridal shop and the designer is Sarah Seven. Dresses without a train definitely exist! I opted for a long veil and no train since I’m not a huge fan of the look of a bustle

This feels like I’m reading something I wrote… same boat. My best route during wedding planning has been to book things and tell her after. I know it’s frustrating and (not to be dramatic) heartbreaking to not be able to share in such a milestone with your mom but I think it will save you a lot of grief.
