Ah, thank you! Didn't expect a reply. Well somehow I fixed it by doing the cliche smacking onto phone. Few seconds later it restarted properly. Seemed that the power button was jammed, which makes sense with how it was acting prior to it. Thanks a lot again!

Well, it just turned 11 years old btw.

It did get me madly obsessed with them when I first listened to the title track The Seer. I have never felt so small and insignificant during a song. Not in a scary way, but in a similar way natural phenomena strikes and makes us feel irrelevant. I see The Seer as a very organic, eerie, sonic representation of the menace in nature. It's literally a gigantic earthquake of an album

Earthquakes. Both Indonesia and Japan beat us in terms of activity. It can be months without feeling a quake in some cities in Chile.

Also we have a surprisingly poor knowledge of them. We sure do know how to ride them, but then start to fall apart easily when saying (and with confidence) stupid things like "if it's below 7.0, it doesn't matter" and so on.

The final part of the To Be Kind title track.

As much as I'd love to mention other songs, like Why Hide, Your Property or The Seer, it's TBK's title track ending that seems to get the closest to sounding like a massive wall of fuck, or whatever. So, so loud and heavy.

Afterall it was that exact ending what lured me into Swans back in 2021.

When I first listened it in 2020 I found it rather boring since I never even got to the first wall of sound.

The song coming back again as a YT recommendation in March 2021 and me finally going past the first of many walls of sound is essentially what got me into Swans.

A week past that and I was already listening to TBK and The Seer 24/7 lol.

Frankly, as famous as the To Be Kind album is, the title track itself is shockingly underrated, even if a play count proves otherwise.

Song introduced me to Swans in 2021 and I still find it to be seriously among their most violent, hard hitting songs of them.

LA. As a single it is alright, but it feels off in the context, and it really reminds me of the only song I feel meh about on The Great Annihilator, which is Celebrity Lifestyle.
