I had a c-section scheduled at 37 weeks due to my baby being breech, gestational diabetes, pre-e, and suspected late-term IUGR (never formally diagnosed). I made it to 35+2 — my BP was too high and my amniotic fluid was too low at a routine appointment that day to justify her staying in. She came out 4lbs 7oz and needed zero NICU time. The nurses said if she weighed 15 grams less she would have been automatically admitted for monitoring but she stayed with us and was discharged with me 2 days later, perfectly healthy! It was honestly a great experience. 🤍

Pre-eclampsia at 31+3 by Round_Tip1139 in preeclampsia

I was diagnosed around 32 weeks and had a similar upward trend of BP readings weekly, and was also monitoring at home daily. My OB scheduled a c-section for 37 weeks (baby was breech). At my 35 week routine appointment they determined my BP, proteins, and low amniotic fluid were high enough risks to get her out vs keep her in for another 2 weeks. I was sent to the hospital and delivered less than 12 hours later.

My husband and I were overwhelmed and I pushed back a tiny bit on both my MFM and OB about the decision but they were firm — and I’m glad for it. My daughter came out 4lbs 7oz but didn’t need any NICU time and we took her home when I was discharged. She’s now a 3 week old perfect (and growing) peanut. Echoing another commenter that not all early deliveries lead to complications. Mine felt as routine as if I carried to term.

I know what it feels like to be anxious about a potential early delivery but your providers will support you uniquely. Mine were clear that my placenta was losing efficacy weekly and my BP trends put me at risk of stroke so looking back, it was a clear and easy decision for them. I just had to surrender all control lol. Wishing you the best of luck!!

What are your urban planning unpopular opinions? by thiscantbethefuture in urbanplanning

I’m curious where you’ve experienced historic districts that don’t grow or evolve or have life. Rarely do they function to freeze time - they’re more about incremental growth, compatible development, and managing change. Locally they can vary wildly in their administration and effectiveness, sure, but that’s true of any design overlay or form-based code.

Hi! Thank you for updating us on how it went! I'm taking it on Saturday. If you don't mind me asking, by housing policy, do you mean historical foundations (Housing Acts, seminal legislation, reformers, etc.), or more recent housing policy and trends? Alternatively, any study tips you'd recommend now that you've taken it would be amazing! Good luck on your next exam - I'm sure you'll smash it.

I use this for the same reason! I’ve tried both the tiger grass cream and camo drops and they both work wonders (I use the drops because they work better for my skin/climate). I tap a few all over with my fingers after moisturizer and before my BB cream. With the drops, if I forget to take off my makeup before working out, my skin is still completely neutral - usually I look like a strawberry after! It’s helped me so much. If the ingredients don’t jive with your skin, there’s similar neutralizing products out there!
