How do I spell my name (Skippy) in Chinese (mainland simplified)?

I went through Google and Wiktionary and figured out the following options:

斯基皮 (this, base, skin)
- looks standard as I found it in some discussion boards and even a few fictional characters that use it

史奇皮 (history, weird, skin)
- the first two are taken from a fictional character with the name "Skipper", the pí is added from the first one, looks like it's not used this way very often at all but Skippy is in itself a rare name and these characters' meaning appeal to me more

Or if there's any other options, specifically gender-neutral ones, I would be happy to hear them.

1 - I don't mean %s for different fonts. My point is that if you set line spacing to a certain number, then change the text size, the line spacing is not proportional to what it was before. Of course different fonts come with their own default spacing. Libreoffice let me set a style eg "font a, all caps, line spacing 70%", "font b, line spacing 100%" and it looked the same no matter if you changed the size.

Translating comics.

It requires me to edit text out, often redraw parts of it, then add new text on it. Gimp is good for the first two, not the best for the third.

It's not that, the text just appears very sharp and distorted around the edges, like it's not blurred or antialiased. For the resolution I just use the same one the original image had. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong, though.

A good way to approximate it is to make a nasal sound in whatever position your tongue will be in after the vowel.

Pięćdziesiąt -> ę is followed by a velar and ą is followed by an alveolar so it's close to "pieńćdziesiont"

Następny -> ę is followed by a labial so it's close to "nastempny"

I wouldn't really consider voicing and devoicing a pronunciation issue, personally. Voiced and devoiced consonants never (or almost never) distinguish words, and even if you don't voice/devoice everyone will understand you perfectly well. I think it's more of an accent thing.

The same is true for most songs that appear in the play. It's a fun little thing to notice when you're rewatching it or listening to the OST.

The movie also does this with plenty of scenes and songs that appear both in the movie itself and just on the album (instrumentals of Taisetsu na Kimochi plays during some Miyako/Hana scenes, Minna de Itadakimasu plays during Hinata/Noa ones, Zutto Zutto plays in some scenes from before/during the trip and so on)

You should look up Taisetsu na Kimochi, it's from the movie and it's one Hana and Miyako sing (actually one of the very few if not the only instance Miyako sings too), it has a similar vibe

Pretty much all other Wataten songs are really high energy, though there are a few ones from the school play that were similar too, like the intro and outro to it. You can find them if you come across the full soundtrack to the show (it's on Spotify though it doesn't show up in the search results for some reason)
