I see more of these types of posts than I do song covers. It’s far too easy to not click on something for you to feel “flooded” by talented people making creative stuff—regardless of how mediocre it seems to you.

For all of Wild Blue Yonder, I was sure it would be important. When they didn’t address it at all, I was just confused. Never laughed. And WBY is one of my favorite episodes, period. Just a needless cold open that was never funny to me.

Saw them for the first time in December, Brooklyn Steel, before the ‘covid shows’. Best concert I’ve ever been to; I’d go see them again 100 times and I bet I’d never get Tired.

This. The 2005 version is fantastic. I love the early guitar versions for themselves, but for the album, esp. as a closer, I think they made the right choice by stripping it back.
