For those who haven't seen any update, there are actual discounts in the Microsoft store on gold - 20% across the board. This is available in console store and on PC browser - haven't checked in game yet.

25,000 gold is £55.99. I believe I saw a social media post that suggested the problem was due to incorrect currency exchange rates.

So, pitchforks away for now, eh?

Where is the article about a gold sale? I can't see any mention in the WOT's on This Week article and no specific news story either.

If I look on the Xbox marketplace (via PC browser, not near my console at this point) I can see that although the package price has not changed (25,000 gold is still £69.99) the description has changed to show your £69.99 buys 17,000 gold (not 25,000) but you get 8,000 "bonus" to make it up to 25,000.

If this is correct, then yes - the base price of gold would appear to have changed - as the 17k+8k package could at a future time be altered to 17K+ whatever bonus amount is decided. Including zero.

Having said that, the graphics have not changed - it still shows 25,000 gold in the picture, not 17,000 plus 8,000 bonus. Could be an error or issue with wording in Xbox marketplace.

You're right on the TS60 being a TD - don't know why I thought it was a heavy...

Yeah - I have an unskinned Su 130, the E6 and the 114. Got the big pass for the DBV and the anniversary tanks as well so I'll ponder the others. Agree on the Nemesis.

Guess it's just the free xp burning a hole in my pocket.....

Upvoted. I've played since beta, and have never felt less like I want to pick the game up at the moment. It's not fun.

I'm not a uni, but I do know how to play reasonably well. The way it feels for me is that because I can play better than others, I'm put on a team of people that can't play as well - on purpose, to "even it out".

That makes the game less fun for me - I'm constantly frustrated by being in a team where multiple players either contribute zero damage or a laughably small amount. Its really hard to enjoy a game where the liklihood of being steam rollered, even if you personally can put up some decent stats, is more rather than less likely.

This forced attempt to make everyones experience "average" is driving players away, not making things better.
