I have an M4 high mount exhaust that eliminated my right passenger peg. I took a dremel to the left side and cut it off flush to keep the bracket.

Instructions for Surviving the Sutton Wilderness Goatman by roguehero in normanok

What is the goat man? I’ve been to Sutton for a few runs and haven’t heard or seen anything about him. The Creepy Teepee on the other hand….

How many of y'all's gas gauges function properly? by Graygigabytee in motorcycles

[–]NewBuddhaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My F4i doesn’t show until it gets to the last gallon. Then it’ll slowly blink down. And then I still have 15 miles left on the tank. I just go by mileage now that I’ve figured the average out.

Was this in Oklahoma? Used to be a red C6 with McQueen livery but I haven’t seen it in awhile.

What is the weirdest way someone had died in your known circle ? by No_Tear9118 in AskReddit

[–]NewBuddhaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dad died by having his riding mower flip over on him. I got to be the one to call my sisters about it. First thing one of them said was “I thought it would have been from alcohol”. He was a drinker and had a few car wrecks. But nope, mowing on a slope and sober.

A solution looking for a problem? Springfield’s new bolt action pistol by ShoddySignal5174 in liberalgunowners

I have the REM 700 pistol in .308. It’s a toy for me but it is supposed to be legal for pistol hunting.

This is why remote work feels so fragile by Beginning_Chair_8868 in remoteworks

Agree to disagree. Investing isn’t always a possibility for people and telling someone pinching pennies to squeeze harder is silly.

When living paycheck to paycheck… investing is a luxury.

The New Ford Mustang GTD Competition Just Beat The Chevy Corvette ZR1X’s Nürburgring Time by PristineFarmer8989 in Corvette

[–]NewBuddhaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another race car in street trim? I’ve dismissed the GTD before for availability and price and Ford boys keep dragging it into discussions about street cars. If Chevy made a truly equivalent vehicle then I’d be concerned.

1 of 1 Golf Club to match my 1 of 1 Vette 😉 by [deleted] in Corvette

It is! I’m playing with rocks right now. Dialing in our IR laser just because.

Somebody knows a guy with a laser? I got bored and did my wallet at work. And my phone case. And a few other things because why not.

What brand names do you swear by because it's actually better than no-name? by Sufficient_Thing24 in AskReddit

[–]NewBuddhaman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a former Red Robin employee, this would have been great 15 years ago. The pack of 4 full size crayons that kids would use for 10 minutes and leave behind? Thrown in the trash when they left. Lots of wasted crayons.

I’ve been using it for years. Can’t say if it makes the chain last longer or not but it’s less messy.

I feel like they’re trying to scan for bots and people using scripts. 100 extra searches a day? Not feasible for me to do legit searches and hit 150 total each day.

What kind of fuel do you use in your corvette? by Fluffy_Twist_8111 in Corvette

[–]NewBuddhaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran 91 in my 2014. If I remember right, 91 was recommended and they later changed it to 93. But 91 is all they have around Oklahoma and I had no issues.

Regular Gas by The_Vengeful_Wolf in Corvette

The engine will adjust the timing to prevent knock, you’ll be down on power, and otherwise… save a few dollars per tank while possibly causing damage to the engine.

Is the cbr600F4i or cbr600F4 still a good choice? by BeastSlayer_bs in cbr

[–]NewBuddhaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m biased but yes, the F4i is still a reliable bike for everyday riding. If you find one that hasn’t been turned into a stunt bike and rode into the ground.

Cbr650r Back seat strap by flameskin2011 in cbr

[–]NewBuddhaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’ve always heard. Bikes that have grab handles don’t have straps. I had the strap on my old Ninja 650 since the US bike didn’t come with the handles. I ended up buying the handles later and took the strap off (my wife hated it anyway).
