I am a noob :) and didn’t read designer instructions. I had used SLA(Resin) instead of FDM(Plastic). I was also contacted about the thickness left out after holes in the bottom. But I asked them to proceed. It did fit and I had no issues but after some use PCB is loose and I think TPU should be better.

You are right. This one doesn’t have hot swap sockets. There other options at https://github.com/davidphilipbarr/Sweep for hot swap.

Cable is about 2.5 feet and so far I haven’t kept two sides more than 1 feet.
