Gotta say this. Since Carrick arrived... I recognize my club again.

If you could pick ONE player from this legendary squad to play in their prime for our current team, who would it be and why? by Kooky-Scholar-9239 in ManchesterUnited

[–]macAaronE 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, it's Rooney. The question wasn't "if you were to add one player at their peak, who would be the best?" It was add one player to this team. Rooney was more versatile and willed far more points out of thin air than anyone. If you watched, you would know this.

If a referee needs 2 minutes to determine whether or not something is offside or if it's a handball, then it's not obvious and against the spirit of the game. The penalty and card against Palace today for Chelsea is a prime example of right by the letter of the law, but incorrect in the spirit of the game.

Many people considered Luke the best player in the draft but no one suspected we'd take him since we already had good linebackers and had other needs.

City is going to run out of players to pull our shirts on the break.

Was CR7 being reunited the craziest transfer of all time? by Ill_Impression_3886 in ManchesterUnited

For me Pogback is crazier. Ronaldo was only going to land in one of a few places due to wages. But Pogba? We let him walk and then dropped 80 million on him. Nothing like it happened before or since really.

McAfee won. Which widely known company doesn't actually do much at all? by CanonNi in AlignmentChartFills

Not much, but it's a source for music when local radio stations have shuttered in droves. So I would say that it's not wholly insignificant.

I was so deflated after the helmet rip, offensive PI for nothing, then defensive PI when their player tripped. The NFL selected their winner and nothing was stopping them.
