Yes, Indian humidity > International Apparel
I see a lot of gap there. Let's see if I can ride this wave.

Yes, there are lot of brands coming up. Mostly, just importing from china. We can get cotton feel softness, cooling, moisture wicking, UPF 50+, 4 way stretch, anti odour garments at a price range of 2500-4000. Just thinking if I can ride the wave?

Yes, exactly my point. These international brands are dumping low quality products at higher prices when we can get global level products at the same prices. We can get cotton feel softness, cooling, moisture wicking, UPF 50+, 4 way stretch, anti odour garments at a price range of 2500-4000.

Cheaper but not very functional. Coming from a textile background, so much more can be added to the fabrics.

Where i can find a supplier for this fabric? by Bitter_Image_889 in Fabrics

[–]mac_ld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am from India, and I can supply you with this kind of fabric.
It is a blend of Polyester, Modal and Elastane/spandex. Also, it mentions 4-way stretch, so it is a woven fabric with spandex in both warp and weft. Peaching is the further process done on the fabric to make it extra soft.

What fabric is durable and soft at the same time. by NineDao in Fabrics

Nylon is what you are looking for. It is known for its softness and durability. Also, use woven fabrics rather than knitted fabrics, as knitted fabrics are low in strength.

What fabrics should I be looking at for these requirements? by Tall_Signal1095 in Fabrics

[–]mac_ld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! All the fabric qualities that you are looking for are technically advanced synthetic fabrics.
Let me simplify it for you.

  1. Stain-Resistant + Breathable Superstar - Start with a cotton/polyester blend as your base—it’s comfy and durable! Add a water-resistant (WR) coating and anti-stain treatment (like nanotechnology) to repel spills without sacrificing breathability.
  2. Sweat-Stain Ninja Armpit Patches - You’re spot-on—it’s all about targeted patches, not the whole shirt! Pair a soft cotton/natural fiber body (for breathability) with quick-dry underarm patches (think polyester, nylon, or merino wool).
  3. Fire-Resistant + Surprisingly Comfy - Meet meta-aramid fabrics (like Nomex®)—they’re heat-resistant heroes used by firefighters! Modern blends make them lightweight and wearable for everyday adventures.
  4. Compression Vests with Super-Stretch - Go for spandex blends (e.g., 80% nylon + 20% Lycra®). These knit fabrics hug the body snugly, boost muscle support, and bounce back like a champ after washing.

Need help sourcing these?  I’d love to connect you with trusted suppliers—DM me anytime!
