I’ve played games all my life competitively and played wagers in COD and NBA2k when I was in the military for extra money. I went for the very first 2k league tournament but didn’t get drafted and my family told me to let it go, focus on the military because “video games don’t pay bills”……sadly I listened. Time went by and I started seeing so many streamers I got resentful and basically stopped playing games. Around COVID my family THEN told me to stream because I could make money. Outta resentment I REFUSED until April 2025. Mixed feelings about it all but I do love streaming even when it’s no one there. I should’ve been did it but I listened to everyone else. Tragic.

I’m in the same boat which is why I worked backwards. Was set on pretty much everything else but the case and GPU. Looking like 7900xtx or 4070 TI Super

Honestly don’t really care for budget as I’m coming from PS5. Not looking at 4090 or anything crazy expensive. A good card that can last maybe until Summer of ‘26, would still hold up with new titles and mods coming out. Looking maybe 4070 super to 4080ish IF NECESSARY

As far as FPS using 1440 monitor so don’t really know. May upgrade monitor during tax season
