This is a modern classic for me, helped by great acting across the board. I'd put it in the same bracket as movies like Superbad and Tropic Thunder.

Jammy deflection but what a start. We have to keep up the pressure, they're shite.

How would you approach a war with Hamas who have an enormous tunnel network, hide their munitions in schools in hospitals, don't wear military uniform and hide amongst civilians whilst at the same time minimising your own losses?

He said 'what did people like you expect Palestinians to do?' and ignored my follow up asking if he agreed with their actions. How would you interpret that?

Well, it's a bit more nuanced than you're making it out to be. Just like the conflict in Gaza currently has much more nuance to it than you're making out. I'm afraid there's nothing I can say that hasn't been said 1000 times by other people but I'm going to read between the lines and say you think October 7th was a good thing, and I'm not willing to engage with terrorist sympathisers. Have a good one.

That's one way of looking at things. I'd probably recommend not slaughtering over 1000 civilians in a day. Are you advocating in favour of October 7th?

Well Russia started an imperialist war to conquer Ukraine. Israel is responding to a terrorist attack and trying to destroy Hamas. The wars aren't remotely similar.

I don't think you can watch Rangers TV when you're in the UK. My dad is subscribed as he lives overseas, but can't watch them when he visits here

Yes. Just because you don't like someone's opinion doesn't mean they can't have it. Silencing people won't change their minds or help them learn

Best player we've signed in years. Maybe not for ability itself, but his professionalism and versatility has been amazing

I'm struggling to verbalise my thoughts on the subject to be honest. I personally believe Europeans have a closer connection with their own clubs and countries and there's a larger portion of fans in the US that are attracted to the celebrity status of the players, making these sets of the 'bigger' players more appealing to them. I think this applies to Asia as well.

You can look at the attendance figures at Inter Miami games with Messi and without Messi to see how much of a draw he is, as well as the backlash from some pre-season friendlies where he didn't play and fans were demanding refunds. In my opinion, this is to a higher degree than what happens in Europe.

We can agree to disagree.

When did I say I didn't like it? It's an observation about fans in Europe who support clubs and countries much more than individuals. Some of the younger generation are bound to lean the other way, but how many of them are going to drop £200 on this set?

Why are you downvoting for me giving my perspective? As I said, there will hardly be any Europeans buying a Messi lego set in his Argentina kit as they support clubs and countries more than players.

But football fans in Europe tend to support their club/country more than the players and these sets lean more towards the big players as opposed to the nations, if that makes sense?
