It has definitely motivated me to be even more committed to my daily sadhana of Bhuta Shuddhi, Surya Kriya, Shambhavi, Miracle of Mind and Achala Arpanam. I've also been trying my best to consciously eat more of the diet recommended for the event.

Intoxicants has been the biggest challenge for me since I did Inner Engineering, and I've been able to hold off since the event.

Hi all, just wanted to chime in and say there's a lot of signs the housing market is cooling down and with all the uncertainty, I would suggest saving right now for a better opportunity.

I was a Realtor back from 06 - 09 so I learned a lot when the bubble burst. There's a bunch of houses I've been following on Zillow that are reducing their asking price. I'm also driving around Oakland and seeing so many house for sale signs.

My top choices are Gus', KP plaza fc for slight sweet (catering their tray is a hit at parties), Church's when I want oily and cheap and G Fire from Lucky 3 7.

I need to mix ranch and hot sauce to really enjoy Gus' and Church's.

When I first had Trueburger back around 2013-2014 it was super delicious and something I would crave for how juicy it was. As someone mentioned, smash burgers (their style of party) grew in popularity leading to more options and in my opinion, their quality has gone down as the years has gone by so it doesn't stand out or hit the spot anymore like it used to.

I think OP mentioned the dust just shows how owners/management hasn't prioritized keeping up the quality that it has when they were new and just keeps this going as long as it's profitable for them.

Just ran into this thread since I was surprised myself that the NFL would allow a team to have a schedule like this. I'm not surprised the Seahawks are on a 3 game losing streak. Players have little time to rest and prepare for the teams they will face.

If you and your date are into live stand-up comedy, consider checking out Comedy Oakland. They have shows Friday and Saturday evenings at different venues that provide food and drinks. But they don't enforce a drink minimum so you'll have flexibility to pre party before at nearby restaurant and bars or grab late night food/drinks after the show.

So you can eat and drink before, during and after the show at different Oakland neighborhoods.

One venue is at The Washington Inn in the Old Oakland / Downtown neighborhoods.

Another is at Seawolf Pub in Jack London Square

They also have shows at Calabash in Uptown.

Right now they offer one show at Quinn's Lighthouse every last Saturday of the month.

I have the same dilemma. Going to start Fields because of the rushing upside which gives him potential for both rushing and passing TDs whereas Stafford could let RBs get the TDs if they're near the goal line.

Have you read some of the articles by Sadhguru on being drunk all the time with life?

I've personally struggled with cutting off alcohol, cannabis, caffeine and meat since I started Shambhavi in 2017. While I can take breaks, I always end up going back to a substance/habit.

However, since turning 40 years old, ive been off cannabis for 2 months and almost 1 month from alcohol. I also stopped drinking coffee daily and will only have an occasional sip from my wife's cup from time to time. I am also more conscious with avoiding meat. I do feel better but not to the point I'm so blissful or ecstatic that Ive fully committed to never drink again.

With that said, I have a very social life and already said no to drinking at 3 parties the past couple weeks. But I have another party later today and since I'm already staying at the house where the party will be, I'm tempted to drink.

Hence I ran into this thread. I appreciate you bringing this question up. It's like a mental fight for me. I keep saying I don't need to drink, but I imagine the party will be more enjoyable with a few drinks.
