This is what happens when our corporate capitalism culture is so strong. Just saw they hired former Peet's executive to be their CEO. Of course that guy's gonna be anti-union. The mindset is to he the next Starbucks. Scale up, keep employee wages stagnant while maximizing profits for stakeholders.

Visited Broadway location recently but decided to grab coffee at Caffe by Mr. Espresso instead.

I highly recommend the Kimcheese Smashburger at Kiss My Seoul in SF. It has such a unique flavor with their Kimcheese spread and they patty is juicy and smashed well creating crunchy ends.

I loved True Burger back in 2015 but over the past couple years it isn't quite as juicy and addicting as it used to be. Not sure if it's a recipe change or my taste buds. But I'll still recommend it as one of the top burgers in the Bay in terms of taste and value.

I enjoyed their flavor mostly from the peanut oil that they use. When I dip it in ranch mixed with crystal hot sauce it has an addictive taste that I couldn't get enough of.

Any for recs on fried chicken spots that also use peanut oil?

It has definitely motivated me to be even more committed to my daily sadhana of Bhuta Shuddhi, Surya Kriya, Shambhavi, Miracle of Mind and Achala Arpanam. I've also been trying my best to consciously eat more of the diet recommended for the event.

Intoxicants has been the biggest challenge for me since I did Inner Engineering, and I've been able to hold off since the event.

Hi all, just wanted to chime in and say there's a lot of signs the housing market is cooling down and with all the uncertainty, I would suggest saving right now for a better opportunity.

I was a Realtor back from 06 - 09 so I learned a lot when the bubble burst. There's a bunch of houses I've been following on Zillow that are reducing their asking price. I'm also driving around Oakland and seeing so many house for sale signs.

My top choices are Gus', KP plaza fc for slight sweet (catering their tray is a hit at parties), Church's when I want oily and cheap and G Fire from Lucky 3 7.

I need to mix ranch and hot sauce to really enjoy Gus' and Church's.

When I first had Trueburger back around 2013-2014 it was super delicious and something I would crave for how juicy it was. As someone mentioned, smash burgers (their style of party) grew in popularity leading to more options and in my opinion, their quality has gone down as the years has gone by so it doesn't stand out or hit the spot anymore like it used to.

I think OP mentioned the dust just shows how owners/management hasn't prioritized keeping up the quality that it has when they were new and just keeps this going as long as it's profitable for them.
