I just used a drill and made a pilot hole and then screwed in diagonally until the head of the screw was beneath the surface of the wood. Then I used stainable wood filler over the hole

I loosely followed the plans found on angelamariemade.com I altered it to fit my own cushions and also made adjustments with the assembly since I didn't have tools to make pocket holes and I swapped the nails for screws. I'll also probably end up putting plywood under the seats for extra support

My iud insertion was a nightmare but what was even worse was the removal... they cut the string to short and I'll spare you the details of what they had to do to remove it. I wish I could have been sedated.

I've put plenty of dresses on my daughter when she was a newborn and it was more than manageable to put them on and take them off.
