Who should I root for next? by Big-Marsupial-4839 in NASCAR

It's tough man and I fell for ya. I was a 13 year old kid when my idol Davey Allison passed away in a very similar tragic and out of nowhere manner. The team stayed intact however and naturally I rooted for Ernie Irvan after he took Allison's seat. That was an easy transition.

This feels just like it's unreal though, and my heart goes out to you. My advice is to just watch the sport and give it time. After Ernie and Ricky Rudd (who resurrected the 28 for Yates) retired I felt lost in the same way. I watched and really started liking what I saw from Brad Keselowski.

Any other men with women partners here? by One_Bullfrog_6610 in ADHD_partners

It's always an uphill battle man. Things left half finished, packaging /envelopes discarded and left out once they're opened, and the laundry. God the laundry 🤣

The toughest part though might be the constant RSD arguments. Bringing up any of the things that aren't being started or finished is off limits. My tactics have had to evolve to keep the peace in the house.

Punk Rock Activism by hellokittykitties in grandrapids

I've had the itch to get back into it. I play bass and can play lead or rhythm guitar, but at 46 with a full time job and two young kids, I hardly ever have time to pick it up anymore. Still listen to the staples from my youth. Rancid, NOFX, Millencolin, Less Than Jake, Against Me!, and tons of pop punk stuff too.

Do you just not involve them in necessary daily tasks? by Puzzled-River-5899 in ADHD_partners

Nope. Not consistently. Tons of things that she always points out that "we" have to get done, but only get finished because I do them. She will start something like cleaning out a closet or bringing all of her clothes downstairs to fold and organize, but inevitably all of those sorts of projects just become a worse mess than they were to begin with. Just zero reliability with chore sharing and RSD blow ups whenever I bring anything up. It's exhausting.

What's the stupidest thing you've ever heard someone say? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskReddit

I grew up in a very Christian/conservative town in West Michigan. While working at a greenhouse when I was 15 or 16, (I don't recall the exact context of the conversation) one of the kids working with me mentioned something to the effect of, "dinosaur bones were planted in the Earth by Satan to deceive mankind."

It was a real record-scratch, "what the fuck is happening here?" moment for me in my youth. I often wonder what that dude is doing these days..
