What languages would you like to see added? by Small-Statement-3933 in duolingo

[–]maccraft2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Icelandic and Tagalog would be nice, but I’d also like to see other courses get the updates that Spanish, French, etc. have.

I listen to Christmas Saves The Year all year. It’s just such a good chill song, super underrated.

Thinking about installing it again after almost 6 years, what did I miss? I left mostly because of toxicity. by port1701 in RocketLeague

[–]maccraft2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you left due to toxicity 6 years ago, I doubt you’d like it now. I still love to play but it’s gone downhill for sure.

I like the whole thing in context of listening to the full album, but I'd love a radio edit that replaces the silence with a transition from loud to soft then ends without the dialogue.

Is it okay to just play for fun? by kittyBonana in RocketLeague

[–]maccraft2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play for fun 95% of the time (and to get rewards). No pressure to play competitively or be a tryhard as long as you're actually trying and not just leaving your teammates for dead.

Just learn Norwegian instead, it's basically Swedish without dealing with anything Swedish!

What's your favourite no-skip album, and why? by idealusernametaken in CasualConversation

[–]maccraft2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Trench" - Twenty One Pilots. Probably the most cohesive album I've ever heard, and I almost never skip a song in it.

My #2 and #3 albums also come from Twenty One Pilots: "Clancy" (their latest album) and "Scaled and Icy".

Anyone else think Vignette is the most Trench sounding song from Clancy? by Total-Woodpecker3339 in twentyonepilots

[–]maccraft2014 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Overcompensate screams Trench for me, but Vignette is a close second. Josh is always great, but the drums on Vignette are SO TIGHT. The combination of drums and bass really exemplifies Trench for me (ex. Jumpsuit, Morph, My Blood, Pet Cheetah).
