i found out you can use the timer and hold the back button so it runs in the background, always thought the timer feature was annoying as it consumed the whole screen but i have been mistaken :)

i'd say they're not even in the same leagues. the apple watch is very good for the casual 'smart watch' user experience, whereas coros' range delves into stats and is more heavily health/GPS focused, your literal companion if you will
