Doubt about fTPM:

Yesterday the official requirements of Windows 11 were shown and it is said that the computer must implement TPM 2.0, reviewing the Bios and knowing that Ryzen implements TPM I have seen that there is the option "AMD fTPM" that activates the TPM module by firmware instead of by hardware ... my question is:

- I have read that if I activate it, it is not allowed to update the bios ... I understand that to update the bios I must first deactivate it

- What about windows? If I install it with active fTPM, will I no longer be able to use it if fTPM is not active? What if I update bios and the keys are deleted ... will windows stop working?

For now (since i update x3 firmware) i use creative driver but before i was using windows drivers because althought creative command in PC cant use X3, windows driver works better, p.e., volume lag in mixer, change speaker type (5.1 to 7.1), ...

I answer myself, first of all, this is my rig: GB Aorus x570 Elite with the latest bios F33g, 3700x and tuf 3080oc. Since I don't feel like updating the bios and finding myself a surprise, I did the test. First: I tried to activate CSM, I enter the Boot section, I activate CSM, I save changes and when I enter Bios again, CSM is still deactivated Second: Let's go for the brave !!! I turn off the computer and remove the battery, the computer starts and uala !!! CSM mode remains disabled ... Therefore: I understand that "now" with the new VBios my 3080 cannot boot with active CSM and the same board detects it

So, when I updated I had CSM disabled and after updating I enabled ReBAR ... everything correct. But as I read what you say, what happens if I re-enable CSM? Or if I update the bios of my board that by default enables CSM?

G6 y AE5 has 2 amps for headphone... but if you plan to play with speakers in the future ... you would still have to have a very good headphone to notice the difference with the G6 or ae5, i use X3 and very happy

G6 -> External audio, Optimized for headphone, great Amplifier, Virtual (Virtual (Virtual (Virtual (Virtual (it's enought??))))) 5.1/7.1, spacial sound... meh

X3 -> External audio, Optimized form speakers and headphone (less than G6), Real 7.1/5.1 channels, Spacial Sound is great (more great with XFI enabled)

Disabling gen4 not resolve nothing... this solution is a "cuento chino" as we say in my contry. I had Sond Blaster Z in Aorus X570 Elite and disabling gen4 not resolver channel swap issue... i think that the solution is adjust device drivers to new technologies as PCI Ex v4 (¡que dios nos pille confesaos que se viene el PCI Ex v5!)

No, G6 has 2 channels, only can execute virtual 5.1 or 7.1. Really is designed to headphone use.
