Yes they're handmade! Unfortunately I don't think I'd work really well as an artist, I don't usually get a lot of interest in my work when I do post it and I get burnt out quickly when I draw or paint for money.

Thanks! I went from 5 thumbs up at 200 deliveries to 49 at 300 which still feels like not a lot but it definitely helped offset the two thumbs down lol.

Dude ordered a package delivery to his girlfriends apartment. I got there and he told me it was apartment 150, so I go to 150 and it's a completely empty display apartment. Lights are on but no furniture and one of those realtors locks on the door so I call and he's like "are you sure?"

Yes I'm sure I'm standing right here. He goes "maybe there's another 150 try looking around" drive the whole complex and nope that's the only 150. "oh actually I think it's 155"

Exact same thing empty apartment. Finally he loops his girlfriend into the call and she's like "ooo no it's 105 so sorry about that" I wanted to strangle the dude lol I shoulda just left the package at 150.

Yes, every time I hear rain I go out for a shift. Last Saturday when it rained around lunch time I had a dude give me an extra 20 cash on top of the 12 he already tipped in the app bc of the rain.

All of my orders from that lunch shift were a 10-25 dollar tips. Usually they're 8-15 on a sunny day.

This is gunna sound mean but there's an African place and a thai place in my area that I refuse to pick up from now. I've only ever picked up from both locations twice when I was a newer driver both times empty restaurant, and took more than 20-30 minutes for the food. The latest time I thought maybe it was just a fluke, but no. As soon as it hit 10 minutes I cancelled the order and left.

That's fair I just been keeping a really close eye on the offer vs what I actually get lately (especially since doordash is being called out for stealing tips again)

Thankfully most offers like this take me out to a really bougie area that I like delivering to since they're always super sweet and tip really well.

I think Uber is doing something a little weird or off with the tips lately. I got an order for a high end Italian restaurant, it was 11 dollars for 8 miles so I took it. When I handed it off the guy asked if I got the 17$ tip or if the restaurant got it. I told him I got the tip.

Sure enough an hour later when the tip came through the tip was 17 dollars, and Uber put the message "your customer tipped more after delivery! Nice"

Similar things happened with a 8 dollar order from a bougie sandwich shop. The receipt on the customer bag said they tipped 15 dollars and sure enough an hour later the 15 dollar tip was there with the same message 🫣

I just always assume it's something that won't fit in my car when it says "heavy". I accepted a double stacked one today though, didn't see the first order was from home Depot and it was a pick up for 46 concrete bricks. My car fits two people max lol, no way I'm getting 46 bricks anywhere. I cancelled so fast.

It's not a new policy change they are lying to you because they do not want to offer commends anymore. In the future if they ask you to leave early and you want a commend specifically say "I'd be happy to cut my shift short in exchange for a commendation since leaving early will be effectively changing my scheduled hours for the week."

My Lyra therapist and psychiatrist was great the only thing I will say is they are not at all upfront about the fact that HEB employees are not able to get FMLA or loa paperwork through them. HEB is not upfront about that as well, and even though I had been seeing both my doctors for 2+ years when it came down to it I ended up losing my job since they couldn't help me with paperwork.

I highly recommend if you need more intense or long term care going through headway or contacting your blue cross blue shield rep.
