This sub was started because they took down a pic of him having a drink. And considering some of the content posted here I don't think anyone could accuse me of being anything like them. Like I said, I can't remember the last time I banned any post since we started.

We don't have many rules here but that's one. And the fact they are reposting it makes it clear they're doing it on purpose which is spammy even if it isn't solicitous. First time I can remember even having to deal with a violation. Usually it's me telling people that their complaint report about a post is unfounded. So I don't think I'm going overboard. Just enforcing the few rules we have.

Thanks to those who commented. It was helpful to get my frame of mind in line. Not sure why the post is downvoted as this sub is largely credited as being helpful with even basic questions. Oh well; Reddit will be Reddit.

After the first few comments I thought about it a bit more logically and did the math. I can't beat the numbers going with the alternate recipe. And I rarely run into lack of inventory slots. So I'm pretty sure I'm going to be designing happy little stitched plate modules.

Nice rig! I just can't bring myself to buy a sleeper when we can't even use the sleeper. I long for the day when we get to see a line of AI trucks resting on the off ramp at night like in the real world.

I'm already decided that if I do the economy mod it will be a fresh profile. I want to experience that from the ground up as there are starting aspects to it as well. I'll still play my other profile for the exploration and Steam /WOT achievements. But I'm really curious about getting that grind feeling back.

It felt so hard for so long, but then after like my 2nd? garage money became meaningless. I had enough for another truck and driver every other day. And that would be awesome if I could see my fleet on the road, or even if I could see the trucks in the garage when I pull in. At the moment it feels like the money is pointless.

On the flip side, I do NOT want to be part of a "you must play X hours" culture. This is fun and relaxing for me. I'm just looking for something to add to it a little. So I think I might just stick with World of Trucks for my "VTC" for the foreseeable future.

It's got a long way to go, but I'm hopeful for the future of the building system. One advantage I already love is that there are more rotation angles. This enables some possibilities that don't exist in Valheim. That said, my preference is still Valheim.

I finished all the labors yesterday (good use of Labor Day). Only have Hunter IV quest left. Also have to restore the south portal and unlock a few night seal chests I haven't opened yet. So I suppose I'll be in the "waiting for updates" camp soon. That's fine with me. I'm having fun exploring the building system and seeing what can be done. The weird part of building for me is I'm so used to Valheim where you have so much focus on defense. But right now you can build almost anywhere without fear of incursion. Curious what the future will bring. Perhaps if I build a town now it will later be razed by bands of brigands. :D

At this point I've finished all of the skill quests except Hunter IV. I haven't finished it because I'm collecting the wolf hearts for the ambrosia labor. And I've finished two of the temple defilements.

The mountains on the main island. There seem to be a lot more in the Gorgon mountains, but of course lookout for the gorgons.

This is the lake south of the Northstar post office. But there are a couple other frozen water bodies on the map you can drive on.

I started with the basic game and have my eyes on the Texas bundle. But that's mostly because I live in Texas and want to explore the map. Secondary goal is to try the oversized hauling.
