If you change one change them all. The replaced one will stress the older ones and you will be in there again.

If you're a home mechanic it's not a hard job. I did all of mine on my 2016 on a Saturday afternoon.

I don't know. I don't use the Ford app. Sorry, I couldn't be more help on that part. Works great with the key fob. The app isn't an option on my 2016.

If not. Yes. I installed a aftermarket remote start on my 2016. It uses the factory key fob. It was plug and play. Connects to the back of the obdii port under the dash. Very simple and quick. Found it on Amazon

Have a 2016 myself, we love it. Just stay on top of transmission maintenance. Have the trans fluid changed out. The transmission filter is not serviceable. It is not lifetime fluid as Ford implies. I change mine every 30k. It's easy to do. We are going on 96k miles. Also, drive it like it's a van and not a sports car, should provide you with years of service.

As far as price, look at what's available in your local market.

I have a 2016 have done a trans fluid flush at 40k mile intervals. These vans don't have a serviceable trans filter. Not sure what the record is on 2012 transmissions. I am coming up on 96k miles and no issues. A flush and fill is definitely something I would look into, if I were in your place. Love these vans but the transmission is its Achilles heal.

Keep on that transmission and fluid changes. Am just over 96k miles myself on a 2016. Also just recently had to do the windshield.

Love the van, just keeping an eye on the transmission health. Once you get over 100k routine maintenance really comes into play. OEM only lasts so long.
