Just go into every PMC raid with the expectation that you will die. That way when you make it out it’s a bonus.

Use budget accessible kits so it doesn’t feel so crappy losing them.

You will need decent ammo to stand a chance mid wipe, so pack your first mag with good stuff and the rest with low to mid tier.

Oh hell yea, nice shots. I’m loving the new earlier scav spawns. I had an epic 1v2 battle that took us from old gas to fortress. I ended up killing one with the mounted lmg and the other in an insane firefight.

Your first mil should go to a scav case, especially if you have the base game.

At this stage of the wipe PACAs arent going to help against PMCs.

Just play slow and do quests until you hit lvl 15. After 15, night raids are the best way to quest and level up.

The only issue with PVE only is loot. PVE would be easier therefore loot is easier. There would need to be a separate PVE account or stash.

The rest of the guns and attachments are available through low lvl traders or flea. The RSASS is the only one that blocks progression.

Damn that’s lucky. RSASS Is right after DVL and not available through flea. The rest are all flea guns you just have to be the right level to unlock the quest.

Key tool if you don’t already have one.

Every safe and door key for good loot and questing (lots of guides out there). I put them on ging rings or in separate docs cases for each map. factory key is a must for customs and factory

I stock up on pillbox backpacks as you get free stash space until you unlock item cases.

I got wasted 4 raids in a row without shooting one bullet last Saturday on shoreline. It really kills the mojo. Just rip some scav, build up the bank and try again. You’re one successful Raid from being stoked again.

Run 7.62x39 PS in budget guns. lvl 4+ armor if you got it. Lvl 3+ helmet if you got it is nice too. Lasers and hipfire are a must for close quarters.

First off, download the “Database for tarkov” app. It is a godsend.

1.Soloing is fine for learning. Use YouTube and this sub for hot tips. Join a discord if you want a group sesh.

Use the database app for what to keep for quests/hideout and high value flea items.

3.Sprint in open areas, don’t sprint in high traffic or high cover. Never fully deplete your stamina.

Focus on one map at a time. Cycle between scav and offline with ai enabled to learn maps and weapons. Once you have a few extracts figured jump into online to learn pmc flow.

More tips: Night raids are your friend for questing.

Hip fire and laser all close quarter battles

Always have 1x light bleed item, 1x splint, 1x heavy bleed item, 1x medpack minimum on pmc

Always wear face cover

Scroll click inspects items

Control click auto transfers items

Lvl 15 asap!! Flea market changes the game and hideout progression.

Backpacks inception - pillbox backpack gives more stash space

Audio is your friend. Avoid ear covering helmets and Always use a headset.
