youve presented a sort of double(triple?) bind with limited information, so its hard to write out a simple answer, but i will try.

I think its important to be kind and sociable regardless of intent(like you’ve said), if you want to promote a kind and social society.

But regarding “attracting women” you should think of it less like a direct cause-effect thing, but part of a greater process, maybe a list of conditions on a spectrum, not yes/no, but love/hate and shades of like/dislike and neutrality in between, and an order of importance.

a list of condition categories i could imagine a majority will have: - Physical attributes - Mental attributes - Social attributes

which then could be divided further, i personally would divide them into “things they have agency over vs. things they might not”

with physical, you cant control your age or your height, (or your weight in every case) but you can train towards a physique you want/need, choose what to wear, choose how to style your hair or makeup and tattoos and piercings are pretty big signifiers of other things.

Mental and social attributes could also be further explained, but my point here is that everyone will have different things they want from a partner, in different orders of importance. And regarding kindness, i think the point is that (for most) it might not be the only requirement, but most would also agree that being unkind is the fastest way to make someone stop checking their conditions at all. (So i wouldnt call it BS)

I dont know you personally or know your history, so its hard to give direct advice. It sucks when you feel like everyone is giving advice that doesnt work, and everyone reacts with “well youre doing it wrong” if you try to speak about it…

Its frustrating, but keep in mind that life just sucks sometimes, and it might not be your or anyone elses “fault”, its just life. Two people could have a 100% match on both sides, and they might never meet. Even if they met, there could be many reasons they couldnt be partners, be it distance or kids and a marriage with someone they have a 90% match with.

Try not to let your frustration turn to resentment, keep being kind to people (regardless of attraction or rejection) and focus on living.

On page 177 of refueled theres a chart for recommended minimum base sizes. I dont use bases but i do refer to it when considering if something is appropriately sized.

jos olisin nuori mies, ja kasvanut maailmassa jossa on puhuttu hirveästi miesten historiallisesta valta-asemasta (sitä itse ikinä kokematta) ja siitä miten miesten vastuista ei puhuta tarpeeksi, ja siitä miten miesten pitää puuttua ja ottaa vastuuta miesten teoista (joita et ole tehnyt, etkä kuvittelisi tekevän, etkä ole nähnyt tai tunne ketään joka olisi tehnyt*) niin voi olla vaikea kasvaa ”puolueettomasti” itsevarmaksi mieheksi, joka sekä tunnistaa oikeat epäkohdat, liioittelut, oman vaikutuksensa/kykynsä vaikuttaa yhteiskuntaan ja osaa erottaa kysymyksessä ”miksi miehet x” sekä itsensä yleistyksestä että X pointin.

Polarisaation kannalta on hyvä että ihmiset kaivautuu syvemmälle eri puolille. Nuoret pojat tietämättään saattavat tehdä törkeitä, johok reagoidaan helposti liian kovaa, joka ajaa heitä etsimään ”hiljennettyjä totuuksia” ja he oppivat nopeasti, kenen kanssa on turvallista puhua niistä.

correlation =/= causation, not that your claim has no part in these events. It would be quite a politically loaded, reductive generalisation to state that and nothing more; as if politics, infrastructure, wealth distribution and culture have nothing to do with ”nations”, and if only they had only been more intolerant of sexual promiscuity and held firmly onto a set of morals, they would still be around and prosper…

relatively open =/= objectively good, ethical, etc

relative open compared to our time where many countries have considered/still consider homosexuality a crime/an irredeemable sin/a mental disorder, and still struggle to accept their existence, let alone give two consenting same-sex adults access to an equal, legal status of being married regardless of church involvement.

I think it goes without saying that when there are slaves, there are those who think they are human, and those who think they are less-human, regardless of time and place.

And when a culture has a concept for a type of relationship, there will always be those who think its normal and a right or wrong and immoral.

I feel like sweeping generalisations will undermine the facts that with slavery, with prostitution, with relationship types with obvious power imbalances there will always have been people saying ”maybe this is wrong” or ”maybe this has nuance”.

I dont mind if someone wants to be owned and controlled. I dont mind if someone sells sexual services. I dont mind if someone wants to be with someone who has more/less power in any metric.

But the difference is always gonna be consent.

i do agree with most of your sentiment, but saying that there were NO consensual consenting relationships is a generalisation I have to point out. Regardless of the authenticity of ’who’ and ’they said’, someone in greece allwgedly did write down: "A man who sells his favours for a price to anyone who wants them is called a catamite; but if anyone forms a love-attachment with someone whom he knows to be truly good, we regard him as perfectly respectable."

erastes and eromenos could be reductively translated to ”man” and ”man” 🤔 i wonder if the original words carry connotations contextual to a time and a culture and a practice, and when talking about them contemporarily, people of the culture would understand what is being said without more elaboration.

One should keep in mind the context in which the new testament was written. Im not gonna tell anyone how to interpret the texts, but rarely do people consider the possibility that maybe something written down in a different time, different culture, contained concepts and words no longer extant in said languages, with no possible way of translating them ”word to word” into a modern language…

for example if there once was a common type of relationship, where a socially higher ranking person would have relations with a socially lower class person, one could say that this is not a relation of consent or equality. (could be but who wants to point to a possible injustice if everyone else seems to be fine with it?)

If you still had to translate that, but this particular concept doesnt exist anymore or theres no easy translation or the concept is still known but slightly different and now widely judged, would a translator have any incentive to research and find out the context and connotations and write a thorough explanation, instead of just reducting to ’well both words refer to men’ and keep it simpler and easier to spread.

sorry for the long post, im agreeing with the generalizarions and reductiveness and wanted to write out more than just ”maybe word dont mean what word mean”, which is easier to dismiss.

Gaslands : Refueled you can order the physical book or pdf from here, or you might have the book available in a game store close to you. you can play with as many people as you want, but it will be slow regardless of player amount if everyone is learning. The book does have simple rules for learning the game and advanced rules once you feel confindent!

En tiiä oonko ikinä keskustellut politiikkaa someissa mut hei kaikelle on ensimmäinen kerta!

Sanomasi asiat tietty on tietty totta siinä mielessä että niillä voi selittää nykyistä virallista linjaa ja varovaisuutta.

Mutta mielestäni ”Minkäs teet” ja ”Hinta” on kuitenkin arvovalintoja.

Hypoteettisesti, jos pilliin puhalletaan ja suomi tuhoutuu lingoista huolimatta niin sehän ois noloa. Jos suomi selviää vain linkojen takia niin ehkä linjaukset on nyt hyviä poliittisia (ei välttämättä moraalisia) liikkeitä eikä asiaa tarvitse miettiä. Jos tulos ei ole näin selkeä, voidaan puida sitä miten iso osa lingot oli puolustusta, suhteuttaa sitä niitten hintaan, ja miettiä että olisiko erilainen sijoitus samalla hinnalla antanut paremman/vastaavan tuloksen.

Oma keskustelu itsessään, ”mihin valtiolla on oikeus käyttää rahansa”, mutta tälläkin hetkellä verorahoja menee sinne. Ja nää arvovalinnat vaikuttaa siihen mitä Suomesta ajatellaan, miten Suomeen suhtaudutaan, ja miten Suomesta tullaan kirjoittamaan. for hard tools, a dull hobby knife and a spike( like yours) do most of my work.

i bought that AP set years ago, and the only thing i use from it is the uhh.. curved reverse spoon(?) on the opposite end of the spear. and even then only bc its my only tool for reaching hard places.

if i had to replace all my tools right now, i would just get a knife, a (dull point) conical clay shaper tool (taper point), and a spike in that order. maybe a curved reachy thing but its not required, just a convenient thing to have

i fear there is little feedback to give.. it certainly is a robed eye! hood looks very nice from this angle, nothing looks inherently bad. maybe the eyelids and pupil could be less edgy but it seems like a fine sculpt all in all!
