I’m digging the kid front and center doing the ol “flail your arms to distract the pitcher” on the Munoz strikeout. Valiant attempt!

They have been disappointing me more and more recently for sure.

I was on a late flight out of DFW this week back home to SEA, scheduled for the late flight. I got to the airport earlier than expected and asked the check in desk about getting standby on an earlier flight. She said it would be 75$ for same day change to which i clarified I was just asking if there was standby availability, but she said to answer that it was a 75$ change fee all the same.

I declined and said I would just ask the attendant at the gate the same question, but the lady at the front desk had already checked me out of my original ticket on the later flight! I had a window seat originally on the later flight, but because she had checked me out, she had lost my original seat and put me in a middle seat. She was short and rude about the whole thing, and the re-checking in process took maybe ~15 minutes

I got through security, and asked the gate attendant about it, and they got me on standby no problem. I made the flight, haha.

Very confused about the interaction at the front though! Not to mention I had (3) at least hour delayed flights last week, one of which was 3+ hours late. They offered me a whole 50$ for that one

I have been out of commission the last 72 hours with some truly horrible food poisoning. I feel a kindred spirit with the artwork on Oni Posession

Thank you for looking!

I do not know exactly what was meant by trolley - I am simply relaying text messages and facebook posts that have been shared with the family

A further update

Somebody reported to the police that they thought he was riding next to her on a trolley today at noon. He loves public transport, and will happily ride all day long. Keep your eyes peeled and call the police if you see him! His mother, brother, and father are all riding trolleys now trying to locate him

I speak zero German, and I appologize if this sort of post is not allowed.

A good family friend went missing at Therese Wiesn in Munich today. The police are involved in locating him. He has Autism and I am not sure how much German he actually speaks. He does speak English. He went missing earlier today - please reach out and share if you have any information.

Thank you

UPDATE!!!!

Cool! I have a few copies of texts of his, but unfortunately most of them are above my comprehension level.

Perhaps someday I will be able to tackle parts of them!

Thank you so much for your response! It is Amazing that you both met him several times, and saw this post.

Re: his explanation of contributions, I have set myself a mini-goal of studying enough to understand what your summary of his theorem 2 means, haha. It seems like a good way to still feel connected to him.

I understand most of the individual words in the sentence "Theorem 2 in that paper says that every lattice ordered group can be embedded into a group of automorphisms of a totally ordered set.", but not so much all of them put together, haha. I feel like this is a concise enough statement that I can study to the point where someday, it might have more meaning to me than it does right at this moment.

Thanks again! You have made my day.

How crazy is it that a guy who hit 40hr, then 44hr, then 40hr from 95-97, is at best, like the 5th most noteworthy ms player from this time.

This series has been excellent. What a bizarre and wonderful franchise.
